Small authentic Italian restaurant. I came in last minute with a group of 6 bc the restaurant we originally planned on going to was closed. They went an extra length to seat us. BONUS: It's BYOB! We had the Calamari, Caprese Salad, and Brushetta for appetizers. For dinner we had gnocchi, linguine arrabiatta, the seafood linguine and eggplant parm. EVERY SINGLE THING WE ORDERED WAS GREAT. The staff was attentive. It's super cozy. I loved it! Thank you 💗

It is a vibrant neighborhood true Italian restaurant. Food is delicious, although a lot of olive oil. Go there to try excellent recipes, not if you are on a diet though :-) Lively ambiance.

Phenomenal service, food, atmosphere. BYOB Italian? What is better. Cavatelli pesto with homemade sausage was perfection and then the tiramisu....GO HERE.

Small, trendy restaurant specializing in authentic Italian cuisine. A little hectic, but worth the claustrophobic space. The staff bust their butts to please. Cool urban atmosphere.

Came here for a date night, unsure of what to expect. Didn't realize I was making my way toward some of the best lasagna I've ever had. Friendly staff who had smiles on their faces, extremely kind and offered up great recommendations for food. Their homemade pasta is to die for!

Legit, some of the best pasta dishes I've ever had have been at Caro Mio. Fell in love with this place well over 10 years ago in their former location. Went back tonight at their new location with some friends of ours (also longtime fans). The vibe is very much the same; the food is still the same -- which is to say, spectacular! I challenge you to find anything on their menu that's not a home run. And if you want a "sure thing", try their gnocchi. You're welcome in advance... :-) Enjoy!

Absolutely zero complaints as this place was wonderful! Very friendly and attentive service without being too much. We had the garlic bread as an appetizer which came with the best marinara sauce I think I have ever had, so yummy! For our main courses we had the Penne Matriciana, which had delicious meatballs and sausage, and the Linguine Arrabiata (they were kind enough to let me sub the linguine for penne and remove the eggplant). The arrabiata sauce was INCREDIBLE. Just the right amount of spice and so much flavor. Would absolutely recommend for the great food, service and overall cozy vibe.

The pasta was incredible and seemed very fresh and authentic. We were all very impressed. This is definitely some of the best italian in the city by far, despite the prices. You definitely get good sized portions for the money too! The gnocchi in tomato cream sauce, the pesto, the burrata and garlic bread, were all amazing. The garlic bread was some of the best Ive ever had. The chicken parm was enormous. The risotto was delicious, and the gnocchi bake in bolognese was very good too

Finally made it here as it’s been on my list for years. As others have mentioned the space is cozy, would recommend a reservation to ensure a table. Seems very family oriented. Service was good. Portions are huge and the homemade pasta was great. No bread which I do like with Italian food and also prices are high. Some things are a little old school like having to call to make a reservation and only allowing one card per table.

The place was tiny and cramped prices are a little steep but the food was massive! Super tasty authentic Italian, great neighborhood place.
