I have gone to Sweet Station several times throughout the years. Some of the food is awesome, like their French toast or the mango, sago, and pamelo dessert. Other things are a miss a times, like how the salt and pepper squid is too salty with some pieces but fine with others. What they do better than some other places is how fast they are for your needs. They gave us refills of water when we were running low, got our take out boxes fast, and we didn't wait all day for the bill. So I can see how the reviews are mixed here. I think it depends on what you get. I will still come back here to eat but I might stick to what I know I like.

This is a very OK place. It gets four stars because the food is still tasty and the price is great. However I can tell the ingredient quality isn't great and sanitation isn't the best. Overall a decent Chinese food experience.

Super duper extra saltyyyyyyyyy! Lunch special: 老板菜蒸猪肉.......and had to wait 20 mins for this. And Siu mai tastes weird, seriously. My first and last time there. 🤭

Great service and tasty food. My waitress was very professional and attentive. I ordered beef congee and garlic baby bok choy. Both came out quickly and were very tasty.

The staff is efficient, like most Asian places. Lol. You come for the food and not the service. This is my comfort place to go. The food is good, above average but not everything on the menu is good. Still hit or miss, will update when I eat more variety.
The fish was great and the mini hotpot is always good. The other entree dishes like walnut shrimp was average. Lacking in complexity and flavor.

Is it the best place? Absolutely not. Had to wait to be seated when we came in with the place absolutely empty. However, our waiter was a wonderful person who made sure that we had a good time. It is BYOB and you do have great deals daily. I would absolutely go here, especially for hot pot which is popular during winter.

This restaurant is only opened about a month, but it's definitely attracting a good following as it's always packed. This is hands down the best looking and tasting restaurant in Chinatown. I love the super modern decor and atmosphere. I brought my friends there for lunch on my first visit and then went back for dinner with my wife on the same day. The large menu has very unique items and is not the same old stuff you get at the other traditional eateries in the Chinatown Square area. I will be going back for more.
