They have the best chicken salad. The ingredients are fresh and tasty. The staff is very nice and they gave me free cupcakes one night. It a little pricey for lunch but defintely worth it. You can order online ahead of time, which helps if your in a rush. They also have dog bowl outside for thirsty pups.

Disclaimer- all I had were the mini cupcakes. But they were so good they prompted me to write a review :) So I had the red velvet and the chocolate. Being a being of a small appetite, the mini cupcakes were large enough for me, and I must say the red velvet cupcake has a new fan. It is super delish. The chocolate cupcake is more for chocolate addicts - heavy and decadent. I also like the location of this place- close to the damen blue line with a bunch of cute boutique stores around.

The Goddess and Grocer is a great place to either grab some food to go, or head upstairs and dine in. Anything in the deli counter can be heated up; the Mac & Cheese is phenomenal. The only downfall with this restaurant is the food is a bit pricey.

It is pricey for not being organic ingredients. That is my only big complaint, it's expensive, and that this location does not always look very clean. I have seen people working with food who do not look like they have the best hygiene practices. But some of them are very nice, and there are some unique and tasty items for a quick breakfast or lunch. They are not open for dinner, not sure why. I would go!

As the only place for lunch in the area, I've eaten at Goddess numerous times. The food is rich and delicious, but the prices are killer. $9 for a sandwich seems a bit steep, especially for my Tuesday lunch meal.
