Another gem in Pilsen. This place has a great vibe and a lovely ambience. The service is quick and the food has tantalizing Mexican flavors. Got their Camarones Diabolicos and paired it with Maria Candelaria Mezcal with Guac on the side. Shrimps are spicy but not diabolically hot if you have average tolerance for spice. Does taste delicious with rice. An entree + side + drink here would be in the $35-$45 range which I'd say is a regular dinner portion.

A great venue with delicious food and awesome service. We hosted an event in the upstairs for a neighborhood fundraiser and the space was great! Many of us spent time on the first floor at the bar and the service was great. We will definitely host another event there.

The food is delicious, appetizers to entree. The service is decent. I found this place upon a list of the 25 best Mexican restaurants in Chicago. It is definitely close to authentic Mexican food. The hostess was nice. It took about 10 minutes for our server to take our drink order, although as we were sat, we received complimentary cucumber lime water. There were 3 of us at the table. Only one person ordered an alcoholic drink. The average for the 3 of us to eat, was $18 per person.
The building was a lot smaller than it seemed to be for the pictures provided on the website. A LOT SMALLER. There were only a few boths and a couple tables accompanied by about 7 or 8 chairs at a bar. This is more of date night restaurant than a family style.

We love this place. The food and cocktails are great. We like it so much, we even had our rehearsal dinner in their private room. Their private room is gorgeous and can accommodate over 40 people. (There's some free street parking BTW) Everyone enjoyed the food and the house margaritas were very popular, for good reason :) Ask for Amanda if you’d like to use their private room. Can’t wait to go back for some more Mole!

Fantastic, hidden gem. Decolores offers a cozy, intimate environment and serves classic Mexican dishes, some with a unique twist. I had the tampiquena skirt steak. The steak was cooked just as requested, medium rare. The service was sub par as it seemed like the server was also the bartender and the hostess. Decolores would benefit from scheduling at least one more person during peak hours,

Unmissable Mexican dining in Pilsen! The menu has so many different, incredible options that you’re going to need to come back again. Try the steak burrito for something traditional, or get daring with a spicy shrimp dish. Don’t forget a cocktail from the small-yet-stocked bar.

Excellent service and the El Cowboy was amazing! Great venue as well!

My girlfriend and I were in the area because of the Tacos y Tamales fest going on nearby. It was a Saturday. The restaurant was packed, but we were seated within 5 minutes. It seemed like they were *extremely* understaffed that day. We were greeted and seated by the bartender and she also took our order. It seemed like there were only two people on the floor (bussing, serving, delivering drinks, seating, etc.). Despite all this, the food didn't take very long to be served. Everything served was delicious! Despite being sat nonstop, being understaffed, and tending to everyone in the restaurant, the server (I think his name was Mayte) and the bartender (who was a complete sweetheart), remained positive, helped as quickly as they could, and worked together to keep everyone as happy as possible. As a person who has served in a busy restaurant before, I empathized with their struggle. Everyone did a great job, all things considered. I will definitely be going back!
