Cant say enough about how great this place is. Fantastic ambiance and decor, for starters. Fantastic food right behind that. The upstairs party room is the bomb. Spacious. High ceilings. Great acoustics. Probably the best place I have ever held and event before. And the owner is very very reasonable for room rate and food charges. There is also free parking N at the corner along 16th street, which is a big problem solver for parties and get togethers.

Unmissable Mexican dining in Pilsen! The menu has so many different, incredible options that you’re going to need to come back again. Try the steak burrito for something traditional, or get daring with a spicy shrimp dish. Don’t forget a cocktail from the small-yet-stocked bar.

The food is delicious, appetizers to entree. The service is decent. I found this place upon a list of the 25 best Mexican restaurants in Chicago. It is definitely close to authentic Mexican food. The hostess was nice. It took about 10 minutes for our server to take our drink order, although as we were sat, we received complimentary cucumber lime water. There were 3 of us at the table. Only one person ordered an alcoholic drink. The average for the 3 of us to eat, was $18 per person. The building was a lot smaller than it seemed to be for the pictures provided on the website. A LOT SMALLER. There were only a few boths and a couple tables accompanied by about 7 or 8 chairs at a bar. This is more of date night restaurant than a family style.

Another gem in Pilsen. This place has a great vibe and a lovely ambience. The service is quick and the food has tantalizing Mexican flavors. Got their Camarones Diabolicos and paired it with Maria Candelaria Mezcal with Guac on the side. Shrimps are spicy but not diabolically hot if you have average tolerance for spice. Does taste delicious with rice. An entree + side + drink here would be in the $35-$45 range which I'd say is a regular dinner portion.

Fantastic, hidden gem. Decolores offers a cozy, intimate environment and serves classic Mexican dishes, some with a unique twist. I had the tampiquena skirt steak. The steak was cooked just as requested, medium rare. The service was sub par as it seemed like the server was also the bartender and the hostess. Decolores would benefit from scheduling at least one more person during peak hours,

We love this place. The food and cocktails are great. We like it so much, we even had our rehearsal dinner in their private room. Their private room is gorgeous and can accommodate over 40 people. (There's some free street parking BTW) Everyone enjoyed the food and the house margaritas were very popular, for good reason :) Ask for Amanda if you’d like to use their private room. Can’t wait to go back for some more Mole!

The place is easy to see and street paid parking is all over the place. We got seated right away and tried their coffee, it was great. One waitress asked us about our order but then she got switched with another waitress, neither gave her name but they were nice and helpful. Tried their famous mole and it was really good. They also offer other types of drinks but i wanted to enjoy the food. I like their decor and the ambiance, they also have a bar if you just want to relax.
