Nori Sushi

Nori Sushi has become my go-to neighborhood spot, and I can't recommend it enough for those solo dining adventures. The welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff make it feel like a second home, and it's one of those rare places where I'm completely comfortable dining alone. My usual order is the chirashi bowl, a delightful creation that never fails to impress. The combination of fresh sashimi on a bed of Japanese rice, accompanied by miso soup, is a true delight for the senses. The chef's selection always adds an element of surprise and showcases the restaurant's commitment to quality. The staff at Nori Sushi go above and beyond to create a warm and inviting environment. Their kindness makes every visit memorable, and I genuinely feel like I'm stepping into a safe haven. If you're looking for a neighborhood gem with great food and a welcoming vibe, Nori Sushi is the place to be.

This was my first time here. We ordered seaweed salad, miso soup, unagi cucumber sushi, sweet potato tempura, crispy tofu, garlic rice tofu. The service was amazing and the food was hot and good. Overall, I recommend going here for a casual night. You won’t regret. I have just had better sushi. The miso soup was my favorite

We are definitely coming back my good long time friend Pat inviting me to experience her restaurant. Do to COVID restrictions and shut down it was not possible. Now that my husband and I felt more comfortable we come to try all her delicious plates. We had two tables filled with such amazing and delicious food. I will invite all my family and close friends and clients to experience the high quality of service and hospitality. Beautiful ambiance and delicious cocktails.

Nori has ways been very good but now great. The restaurant is comfortable, stylish, and recently remodeled not too mention the sushi couldn't be fresher. Love the nigiri hamachi, spicy tuna hand roll, the Mexican, and more. Plus the cucumber and avocado salad and spicy Japanese dumplings are great starters.

Hiya! Had a dinner here on a Friday evening recently. I haven't been here in awhile, but its just as i remembered; Cozy, clean, and friendly staff. They were fairly attentive, and were quick with our orders. From the appetizers, we ordered the edamame and the tuna tar tar. It was good, but nothing to brag about. As for sushi rolls, we tried the Aloha, Chicago Crunchy Crazy, Spicy King California, and the Crazy Calamari. Everything was pretty tasty and fairly fresh. If you're looking for sushi around the Lakeview area, I would recommend Nori. It hits the spot and its reasonably priced. There are better sushi places around, but Nori does nothing wrong. Its great for a more casual sushi night.
