Vegetarian Express - Chicago - Photo album

This place is very hole-in-the-wall, and I almost missed it when my friend told me to meet him there for dinner. It has the feel of take-out restaurant, but the ingredients are really fresh and food was good. The menu was a bit overwhelming (different cuisines, drinks, desserts, vegetarian/vegan/raw
My husband and I have loved everything we’ve tried here. The lentil burger and the tofu sandwich are my favorites. The juices are great as well, always so fresh. Even my non-vegetarian friends have enjoyed eating here. Costumers get free parking at the CVS lot.
How have I never been to this place before. Don't be misled by the way this restaurant looks from the outside. The food is so fresh and it taste so good. I had the sweet potato burger and it was amazing with a little bite at the end. My girlfriend had the sweet corn tamale. We also got vegetar
Great neighborhood hole in the wall. I've heard so many good things about this place & finally got a chance to check it out for myself. Don't come here for the decor/to impress anyone; there's no waitstaff or bathroom. The food was pretty good, with plenty of vegan/vegetarian options, including tama
I can't get over this place. Everything here is delicious. It's cozy, clean, and cheap but does not taste cheap. I usually order too much. Guy behind the counter is the best. Great vegan options too, and it is frequented by cute hippies.

Quick service, the poblano and sweet corn tamales I had were so good! Try the fries too, they're perfectly crispy and delicious. For dessert don't pass up the vegan and gluten-free chocolate and peanut butter scones, they're the best!
I go here every once in a while when I don't have time to make a veggie juice in the morning, and so far I've never had a bad experience. The owner is extremely friendly and welcoming, unlike other juice bars in the neighborhood that lack both personality and operate like chain restaurants. The deco
Vegan with a recent Celiacs diagnosis, so eating out can be tricky for me, to say the least. This place is my absolute favorite. The people who work there are incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable and accommodating about special diets. The delivery is fast, and the food is impeccable. Everythin
To me, this is the best vegetarian place in town! I have a hard time inviting non-vegetarian friends to eat at vegetarian restaurants because they have the perception that vegetarian food is boring. Well, after doing some convincing, three of my friends decided to try Vegetarian Express menu. They
