Had the Rosemary/Potato pizza. So good.
Awesome service and very friendly staff.
I work at the new Target and will make this a regular stop. Chicken Parm sandwich next.
Some of the best pizza I've eaten . A very good friend took me there the last time I was in Chicago, I had to go again.
My husband and I went here on a whim! One of the Best decision that we ever made. We had the garbage pizza! SO DIVINE. I don’t even like many ingredients on top of my pizza, but this garbage pizza was superb. I can’t even describe the greatness that we had. We loved it. We met the owner who we had a great convo with. We can’t wait to go back.
My new favorite pizza place! Pizza metro’s thin crust pizza had amazing flavors and textures that left me utterly impressed. From the perfectly executed crust to the flavorful toppings, it was evident that every detail had been meticulously considered. Pizza metro not only has great pizza but there customer service is also excellent. For those seeking a flavorful and enjoyable pizza experience, this small restaurant certainly deserves a place on your culinary radar. Your taste buds will thank you.
I got an all cheese, pineapple and jalapeño pizza. It was delicious and it was a fair price. I can’t wait to eat there pizza again!
My first visit back since they reopened. The pizza seems slightly different than before, but still so good. My friend got a sausage pizza, and I got a small Buona pizza. The crust was nice and crispy, something about the pepperoni hit different for me, was so good. Haven’t had a chance to try the pastries yet, they seemed mostly sold by dinner time. I was told the hours were 11 am to 10 pm, so I hope to stop by near opening time soon and try some pastries, they look killer from others’ reviews!
Not much seating inside, but outdoor seating on the sidewalk in front. Street parking only.
This review is for their pastries! This place has been closed for a while and after reopening the owner has been focusing on authentic Italian pastries and wow are they good! got the cream filled croissant (I forget what Italian name is sorry). It was so fresh as they we’re just pulling them out. I also got a latte with espresso and that was enjoyable too. The owner and staff were friendly and I can’t wait to be back for more pastries! Hopefully the pizza comes back soon too as I love pizza!
Updated as I went back for the cream filled donut called bomboloni and it was delicious!!
Stopped in because the croissants looked so amazing in the window and they were. He pulled some fresh from the oven for us also. The pistachio 😍😍😍😍 and the chocolate! Cannot wait to be back to get the pizzas!
Delicious pizza and excellent customer service! The man who took our order was so kind and welcoming. We ordered a small pepperoni and a small potato pizza. Will definitely be coming back here for more and to try different toppings!
We just ate here tonight and we loved it! I got a small Romana pizza. It had an airy, crispy crust without the dryness that a lot of chains end up with. The meat sauce for the gnocchi was delicious, and the service was unbeatable! So friendly and accommodating.
The inside only has three small wall tables, but they have a cute sidewalk patio with string lights and about 7 tables plus chairs. They are set up for easy take out, and are right next to the bus stop for easy transportation.
We live down the street and we're glad to have found a great spot to return to for an easy dinner.
I walked by this place a million times and had no idea it was authentic Italian. WHAT?!
The pastries were so good. This is very much traditional Italian place, with the espresso bar and the high tables (an old man patrons speaking italian after work). Just like in Italy. The service is great too! Sweet and kind.
Wow! Please go support this place! They are serving gourmet level classic Italian pastries - they are absolutely delicious and incredible! We need gems like this in our city. Everyone speaking Italian and drinking espresso! I’m still dreaming about the maritozzo! You can tell they use fresh and ingredients for baking. I can’t wait for the pizza to come back.
Great owners, great pizza. It's a nice small neighborhood spot.
I got a Buffalo Chicken thin flatbread/Roman style pizza; very good, and nice and crisp edges! It had Frank's red hot sauce, celery, and ranch. The 'small' was tiny though- I was still hungry after eating it, so definitely get a medium or large.
Skip the Caprese salad- the leaves were kindof dry and I didn't feel like the tomatoes or mozzarella were fresh.
It's small inside- you just order and eat at the tables outside, or on the go. The servers seem cheerful and happy to have you there!
Overall, good pizza and I would go back again!
