My Honey and I went for lunch-had an awesome cheeseburger with all the trimmings not to mention a bowl of creamy broccoli soup! Our waitress was awesome and the staff are so friendly and welcoming!! We usually go for breakfast-and that’s a yum too😊😊😊😊👍🏼👍🏼
Went yesterday after Chicago Toys for Tots Parade, our waitress I'm terrible with names, tall, blond braid, her area was in the upper level back by the bar, she was one of the best waitresses we've ever had. What a nice person. Breakfast was very good.
I had a taste for their tuna salad stuffed pineapple with cubes of watermelon, cantaloupe, a few slices of cucumber, a diced boiled egg and a scoop of cottage cheese. To drink I kept it clean with a tall glass of lemon water with ice. It was the perfect cold plate for a hot day.Enough said. I'll definitely return. Update: some new faces today but same friendly service and tasty food.
Foods taste good and service is excellent. Recommend for a quick lunch.
Furniture is old style inside.
I was invited to meet here once for a work-related meeting and stopped here again today after wondering where to go for an afternoon breakfast. I understand its popularity. Fast friendly service, good food, nice, clean atmosphere and old school charm. My date asked; "You've only eaten here twice?" Guess I'll have to change that.
Great food served by an even greater staff.
Always go with the special — they're GREAT.
It's a bit of a labyrinth to get to the bathroom; but that's a very SMALL gripe.
When I say felt like home beautiful people. Service was A1 food was A1 my new favorite place to eat.
What a pleasant surprise! We stopped in after a quick trip to Target, and were not disappointed. Cool vibes and decor, along with a great wait staff. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't been in!
Living in Bermuda, I’m a big fan of America Diners when I get the chance, this was one of the best brunch experiences I have had - very welcoming, fast service, extensive menu, great corned beef hash, pancakes and coffee. Can’t wait to return, very easy to find.
4.1 stars...Consistent "Greek diner". Nice and friendly servers. 20% tip included on groups of 8 or more...
:::Update:::We had a larger group than we had planned for a group safety meeting. Our Server, busser and management handled it. They got a round of applause from us!
Always good soup and salads. Attentive service and management. Entree portion size is generous. Warm bread and plenty of butter on table was a pleasant surprise. Lunch and dinner specials are on a separate menu. Sometimes there is a second meal(sort of a prix fixe) menu of the day. Look for breakfast specials on the main menu... Desserts look good but are mainly just sweet. All salads are generously portioned and the homemade creamy garlic dressing was yummy. Many breakfast choices and entrées to choose from.
Pepper beef, Sea Bass, Cod, chicken Fettuccine Alfredo (lunch serving was huge) the chopped steak juicy and all breakfasts were good so far. Julienne salad is huge and tasty as well! Apple Pancacake is a monster sized dessert, but needs more apple and compote.
Papa Nickolas Coffee offered is really good. Bathrooms were okay and clean but wheelchair entry barely possible without some door help. Accessible main entry Door is available for those in need. Two dinner specials with beverages were $38+ cash tip...
Used to go here years ago...
Has not changed in quality or service.
Parking is plentiful, very nice area of the City 🏙️😋
Last time I was here,I had the Monte Cristo Sandwich! Was Delicious 😋.
Have been coming here for about 20 years and the food is delicious! Also the staff makes you feel like a part of the family. It’s hard to pick a favorite dish, but I can’t get enough of their patty melts and monte cristos. Not to mention, their soups are ever so amazing. You also get a good portion for what you pay for.
