Pete's Pizza

First time going here, and it was pretty good. We stood at the host podium for about 10 minutes waiting to be acknowledged, so that was weird. The employees were just looking at us. None of the staff made any effort to say hi or say we'll be right with you. The pizza was good. The ribs weren't that great. The lights were really bright for nighttime dining.

This was our first time here and we will be back. Service, atmosphere, and food was really good! Parking was good too. Italian beef egg rolls and wings (with bones) were so hot, fresh and crispy. The thin crust cheese pizza was very good too, just wish the dough could have been cooked a little longer. Our waitress was so nice.

I'm a native Chicagoan who was transplanted to the west suburbs. I've been coming to Pete's my entire life (44yrs old), and even tho I now have to drive- it's still worth it! IMO- the family sausage is where it's at! The crust is not too thin- not too thick either- it's perfection! The sausage- 1st off, I don't even usually like pizza sausage, but this is a magic blend of meat and spices made for a pizza! It's fuggin magic! Now, the sauce might be my favorite! Not too thick ot thin either - some tomato in there, too. Good quality mozzarella to finish it off because there is no such thing as good pizza unless the cheese is good quality and melts right. Thank you, Pete's, for being you, no matter what the world has had going on, and never changing for anyone or anything. You are the same Pete's I grew up with, and sometimes having you to go to makes life.. well it makes it better. Easier on bad days to know I will at least be satisfied after I eat. Gives all the right feels. Not just anyone or anything can do that. Hats off. 6 flags. 5 stars. Applause. Standing ovation. Now I'm literally salivating and see an hour drive in my future! Thank you, Pete's! Sidenote- best staff, front AND back of the house- and delivery drivers that DELIVER! Never had a cold pizza in the 35 yrs I was having em delivered! Ever.
