First place I actually ate in here in Chicago, Tony Hu's restaurants are all delicious. I love getting the eggplant here, it's stir fried in some amazing sauce that goes great with the rice. Green beans are also very good, as well as the fried squid! Great place to eat.

The hot pot here is really goooood! The normal dishes are really good too. If you like spice, it's a perfect place. It usually is really crowded, but they will somehow find you a seat. Not too expensive either!

Good luck was upon us the other day when a table for seven was immediately available upon our arrival! The food was good and served with a smile ..... although the service could have been a bit more attentive as our server disappeared on us with little or no follow up to our order. We ended up canceling one forgotten dish. High marks for ambiance, quality of the food and prompt seating on this visit!

Love coming here for xiao long bao, but know that it takes a while and may not come out until you have entrees. Also love salt and pepper fish fillet as well as salt and pepper tofu. Tong kai is also a fave veggie dish of mine but they don't always have it. Service is typically pretty good.

Really enjoyable experience. The food here is really authentic. We ordered the braised pork belly and it's exactly the same as I thought it would be. The staffs are really professional and kind too. 10/10 would recommend

My favorite of Tony Hu's restaurants other than the original Lao Sze Chuan. Great vegetable dishes, the chef's specials are all wonderful. Don't forget scallion pancake either.

Soup dumplings are really tasty. Atmosphere is a step up from the cafeteria style places nearby.

soup dumplings were great. so were the potstickers. the scallion pancakes were a little too saturated in grease for my liking
