Good food good customer service and fresh fresh food love this place if I come back to Chicago I will definitely go to this place and I recommend you guys go there
Thier appetizers are amazing!!! Baba Ghanouj, Hummos, falafil - all with warm, light and fresh Pita bread. Thier Salmon platter- served with Persian rice, is just delicious and perfectly seasoned. They are also so wonderfully accomodating and great hosts to our frequent neighborhood meetings - they have wine glasses, serving plates and utensils ready and wsting for us, as well as different delicasies we order to enjoy. They are kind, and let us chat and drink wine and never pressure us to hurry up and leave!
Very good Persian food! I devoured their lentil soup — so hearty and satisfying especially on a cold day. Their serving portions are big and the staff are great. The restaurant is very spacious, clean, and has a lot of interesting wall art.
One of my favorite Persian restaurant in Chicago area. I been visiting this restaurant for past 20+years (kedzie) .. food is always fresh and taste great ! Good customer service. Great for family and friends gathering. Inside decor is beautiful as well. You will see Persian art and poetry on the walls.
The lunch special was good. The quality of the meat is excellent. Very delicious and flavorful. However, the majority of the meal is rice. The rice is flavorful but there is way too much rice served with the two skewers of meat. The salad was good. The falafels were great. They were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I would recommend this place, and I would go back to try some other items on their menu.
One of the best Persian/Mediterranean food i have had in recent times. Ordered Joujeh Koubideh Plate(chicken kabob), Baba Ghannouj(Eggplant dish) and an Iranian tea. To start with the tea with herbs in it was fantastic. Ground Chicken kabob with dill rice(they have other rice options too) was very good. The dill rice was particularly delicious. The kabobs could have been little softer. Baba Ghannouj was great. The ambience is good enough to have a peaceful lunch or dinner. The so called Mediterranean chain restaurants are no match to this. However i still consider "Kasra Persian grill from Westheimer road, Houston" to be the best Persian till date(tasted it regularly close to 9 years back though).
Will definitely come back to NOK again and I strongly suggest to the one's who would want to try the authentic Persian food in and around Chicago.
Wonderful Persian food - best Mediterranean style in the area. Hummus to die for, great Koubideh and Joujeh. Cool atmosphere and ambiance, pleasant staff.
Excellent food! Got it to go! Tried the wings, falafel wrap, hummus, & babaganoush! I really dig their hummus. The pits bread was fresh & warm! I dug their sauces too! Definitely going back!
Super fresh! First time eating Persian food.i got the wrap. Grilled chicken with crunchy veggies in this bread wrap. Served with two different sauces. Totally healthy and filling
The food in the staff was always and is always awesome. The soultani plate is the best
I i’ve been ordering from this place for a while. Good is always fresh and tasty, staff is friendly. My favorite is tilapia plate, and the rice delicious. A+++
We went for lunch and ordered wraps, I had steak the my friend had falafel and both were enormous and delicious. They were so ample we only ate half and enjoying the other half later for dinner. The chicken wings we ordered took a little longer to prepare but had a delightful flavor worth waiting for.
Very attentive and friendly staff. Quick service and very fair prices.
Generally, when my friend comes to town, we never know where to lunch. We've decided to go back to NOK going forward and try everything, something different each time until we've run thru the entire menu!
