Wow Bao - Gold Coast

I must say that my experience here was amazing😊. The gentleman walked me through the process of placing an order , Wow Bao style; gave me a sample & he even gave me a discount since it was my first time ever eating there. This was so unexpected and made my night. Thank you so much for such sincere personable customer service which has become a rare thing here in Chicago.... God bless

They have removed the automated lockers and replaced with a standard pick up counter. Definitely a less fun experience, but the food is still good. The dessert bao are always really good. The Ginger Chia Lemonade was amazing, but is one of those (few) things that would have benefitted from a straw because the chia sinks to the bottom.

Ooooh yeah Check them out. Cheap Super fast and nummy. I was here on a vacation walking every where looking for fast n furious. My bud whom was having a b-day wanted to check you out. I admit this wasn't my first choice, but glad I have an open mind!!!!!!! Yes 7 ! Fun interface and fast great food. I like simplistic like this. No person to have to deal with. Click the screen, swipe your card. Order. Wait tap twice and eat and/or leave. My idea of a quick lunch. My friend had the buns of various flavors. Careful! The Chocolate will attack you! my "salad" was excellent. Exactly as described and tastier. I highly recommend this place especially if you like Asian and want it fast and new age!

Dumplings and rice bowl were good, baos were subpar. Two of the baos were mislabeled, having each other’s labels, and the dough was both gritty and sticky. The futuristic ordering and delivery method is kind of novel, but a subsequent customer got angry at the lack of a human interface (even though there was a “ring for assistance” bell on the wall).

Helpful staff that keeps it clean and people moving so it doesn't get crowded. However I wish there were labels on the buns for the different flavors and the potstickers were more crispy. Edit: I'll take you up on that offer. Hopefully they will be as crispy as you say! Also ah my mistake I wasn't aware of the label at the bottom. Spent a good 10 minutes opening and tasting each one. From 3 to 4 for response and hopefully 5 after second visit!

This is my first time going here. I was in a hurry lunch break for work and wanted to try this place. The lady at the door greeted me wonderfully and show me how to order. Ording was very fast and easy. Food was made fast in 7mins, the food was super yummy! I love how high tech it is. Also place was very clean and boxed and cups are earthly friendly. I also noticed that the cups dont with straws! Saving the animals ❤
