Mei Shung - Chicago - Photo album

Great prices for delicious food. Usually get 2 meals out of each order and it has me coming back for more. Their seaweed egg drop soup is amazing and a great way they jazzed up the soup. Very quick getting your order ready and to the point. Ideal spot for a quick pickup
Better than most lunch specials. Service was extremely quick and surprisingly a large amount of food. Egg drop soup was better than expected and the best egg roll I have had in the Chicago. Will def try lunch again and will return for dinner.
delicious and classic American Chinese fare. Casual environment means you can eat undisturbed
Mei Shung has great food ! Been going there for years! We have two gripes. First, it's carry out only now. We miss it being full service. Second, they are SO stingy on the sweet sauce! We have to beg & plead for more of it! Many times we must pay an extra dollar for 10 packets! As you can tell we li
I have literally been coming here since I was like 6 years old and there has not been single time where it has disappointed, like EVER!! I also never write reviews so that just goes to show how much I LOOOVE this place. The food is always stellar and the staff is super friendly and welcoming. Tha
My neighborhood Chinese restaurant. With COVID still unable to dine in just yet. Also had issues finding a wait staff. Food is reallygood and is Hong Kong and Cantonese style. This is old school Chinese American menu and taste which is right for most people. I give it 4 of 5 stars right now but when
I ordered the Stir Fried Eggplant and Taiwanese Fried Rice Noodle. The portions were VERY generous, and the food was super tasty. I'm going to have leftovers for a few days! I'll definitely go back.
I was seated right away, and given the menu. Moments later I was brought tea and water. The waitress approached and asked if I was ready to order. I asked if the chicken and broccoli was prepared in brown sauce. She said it wasn't, but that they would do it that way for me. That's very nice, an
Been going there for years.. Always good quality and flavor. I modtly get Taiwanese beef noodle soup, which is a good version. Now they have Taiwanese sausage which is great addition.
A quaint restaurant to dine in or carry out, this place has consistently provided good food and good service. Everyone is friendly and accommodating. If you dine in, you'll get to choose from a handful of house sauces that are brought to the table for your starters and entrees. It's generally quiet
The food here is really good, one of the best places to eat in the area 100%. The lunch special is cheap and generous and is almost always top notch in taste. I eat here pretty much every other day and have never felt sick or ripped off like I do after eating at some of the other restaurants in the
Authentic is the word! You have to love a Chinese restaurant where half the menu is in actual Chinese! I loved the food here when a friend from China took me and ordered a huge array of dishes I had never heard of. Try the pork belly, its great! Clean, courteous atmosphere, whats not to love?
Ordered kung pao chicken and egg rolls. Food was $16. Egg rolls had a flaky fried crust and came with hot mustard, sweet and sour, and soy sauce. Kung pao portion was massive and so good, especially cold 4 hours later!
Went to this place about 6 times now and they never disappoint the beef noodle soup is the closest hing in Chicago to beef noodle soup i had in Taiwan. Also their pork belly is amazing it melts in your mouth and very flavorful with the delicious preserved veggies rhat come with it. I would rate thi
Their lunch special is a great deal at less than $8! The generous entree comes with choice of soup, egg roll and rice (except noodles dishes). Mei Shung is much tastier than the Chinese place on Thorndale.
