Great prices for delicious food. Usually get 2 meals out of each order and it has me coming back for more. Their seaweed egg drop soup is amazing and a great way they jazzed up the soup. Very quick getting your order ready and to the point. Ideal spot for a quick pickup
Better than most lunch specials. Service was extremely quick and surprisingly a large amount of food. Egg drop soup was better than expected and the best egg roll I have had in the Chicago.
Will def try lunch again and will return for dinner.

Mei Shung has great food ! Been going there for years! We have two gripes.
First, it's carry out only now. We miss it
being full service. Second, they are SO stingy on the sweet sauce! We have to beg & plead for more of it! Many times we must pay an extra dollar for 10 packets!
As you can tell we like their sweet sauce.
Can't exactly say we get the warm fuzzies when ordering from the staff...almost as if it is an imposition on them being there.
I wish we could walk back to the kitchen and tell the wok chefs how good they make our order.
I have literally been coming here since I was like 6 years old and there has not been single time where it has disappointed, like EVER!! I also never write reviews so that just goes to show how much I LOOOVE this place. The food is always stellar and the staff is super friendly and welcoming. Thank you so much for all your hard work and delicious food ^_^
My neighborhood Chinese restaurant. With COVID still unable to dine in just yet. Also had issues finding a wait staff. Food is reallygood and is Hong Kong and Cantonese style. This is old school Chinese American menu and taste which is right for most people. I give it 4 of 5 stars right now but when I can again eat inside and hot then I would rate a 4.5 of 5 stars. If you don't like something ordered let the owner know and she will take care of you. Great for solo, family, casual or special occasion. I have not tried their alcoholic beverages so I can't comment. It is a bit dark lighting inside but still pleasant. Paid street parking available and free neighborhood parking around the corner. Give it a shot and enjoy.
I ordered the Stir Fried Eggplant and Taiwanese Fried Rice Noodle. The portions were VERY generous, and the food was super tasty. I'm going to have leftovers for a few days! I'll definitely go back.
I was seated right away, and given the menu. Moments later I was brought tea and water. The waitress approached and asked if I was ready to order. I asked if the chicken and broccoli was prepared in brown sauce. She said it wasn't, but that they would do it that way for me. That's very nice, and I've never been offered the option in any other restaurant before.
Not even 10 minutes later, my meal was brought out. Any time my water was less than half full, someone came to refill it...without that creepy feeling that they are all lined up at the back of the restaurant watching.
Each time I looked up or looked around, either my waitress or another member of the wait staff asked if everything was to my liking, or if I needed anything else. It was a VERY enjoyable meal, and extremely reasonably priced as well. This is a place I would definitely return to.
Been going there for years.. Always good quality and flavor. I modtly get Taiwanese beef noodle soup, which is a good version. Now they have Taiwanese sausage which is great addition.
A quaint restaurant to dine in or carry out, this place has consistently provided good food and good service. Everyone is friendly and accommodating. If you dine in, you'll get to choose from a handful of house sauces that are brought to the table for your starters and entrees. It's generally quiet here, offering a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. If you order for carry out, the wait isn't long and the restaurant is generous with to-go sauces.
