We had our Christmas Party at the VU.. the food was very good and the atmosphere was nice .
I had chicken thighs, pasta,salad and corn.

Upon arriving, my visit started off a little sketchy, but the manager Chris took very good care of myself my sister and my niece as we were there celebrating my sister‘s birthday. I was very thrilled with the professionalism and patience that Chris gave to my family. He is definitely hospitality oriented. I will definitely be back to this location. We came on Thursday night for some drinks and this place is absolutely lovely with great views, live music and lovely drinks. We got the “Clearly A Long Island”, a high noon, and a south loop flatbread. The drinks were strong and the food was okay but the place is beautiful with a grand bar, all mirror bathroom, breathtaking view with lovely sound of live jazz.

Went on a Thursday evening and it was really nice. The fried shrimp and drinks we ordered were really good. Our server was very attentive. The only odd thing was the hostess implying she had difficulty accommodating us upon our arrival…but there was hardly anyone there. Besides that, would definitely return. It’s a great space for groups and the music was good too!

Amazing dinner at the VU Rooftop Bar in Chicago, IL! Located in just 3 minutes from our hotel in the South Loop area. The views are breathtaking! We ordered the Curry green mussels, pan fried sea bass, and strawberry shortcake trifle! So freaking good! And the drinks were delicious! I highly recommend the Ma-sa-rap.

Busy, but probably because it's a Friday and there was a private party. Food was great, I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, but not as hot as expected. I love spicy, so I was expecting a little more heat... but was great overall. Had a blueberry basil Ghibili. I think that's what it was. The bartender made it as it was one he makes, that's not on the menu. Do be aware they add 20% tip in already to the check, but at least the guy let me know unlike some other places in town, close by🤨

My husband and I celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary here and everything was absolutely amazing. There are very strict protocols to enter the restaurant (wand detector, id checks, etc.), but once you are here you can choose your view - ocean or metropolis and both are breathtaking. Most importantly, our server Gabriel was extremely personable, accommodating, and attentive. He made sure to make our anniversary celebration was a memorable experience. I wish I could give the establishment more stars! Fantastic!!

We went for Sunday brunch and loved it! The manager came over to our table to check on how we enjoyed the food and invited us back to see fireworks. He was so nice and encouraged us to walk around the restaurant to see the city view. When we were leaving the hostess remembered we were visiting from IN and said to have a safe drive. Everyone was just so nice. We ordered the breakfast burger and waffle and chicken. I recommend both! We will definitely be back!

I was scanned (with a metal detector) before entering the elevator. I was sure if that should've made me feel safe because they check it nervous because they need to 😬.
I had reservations so we didn't have to wait. The appetizers were really tasty (except I wouldn't pay extra for those fries). The food was good. My friend ordered something the server nor bartender recognized ( I think a dark and stormy) so that drink didn't meet her standards but everything else was good. They also have a pretty nice view.
