The pasta fagioli is delicious! Homemade and authentic. They changed the type of pastina (noodle type) they use and for me it's just not the same. I prefer the tiny pastina The Italian cookies are great!

Great food & baked treats that were all reasonably priced. I can't tell you the last time I was able to get a lunch for 2 people under $20! It's cozy inside and while I planned on taking meals to go we decided to eat in. The sandwiches were fresh- bread flaky & the house marinara & meatballs were awesome. Arrived on a holiday weekend and service was fast and friendly.
Will definitely be back for more treats soon.

Highly recommend ordering your favorite desserts from Ferrara Bakery for your wedding dessert table! My husband and I ordered raspberry farfalla, chocolate horseshoes, and mini cannolis.

There's something extra special about bringing home a white box all tied up and labeled with Ferrara's gold sticker. You feel the love that Ferrara's staff puts into everything they make. The quality of the ingredients makes all the difference in the world. My Nonno used to order cakes from here when I was a kid and I'm so grateful I can relive those delectable moments as I hit a milestone birthday this weekend. Il mio cuore é felice!

We had an amazing experience ordering our traditional millefoglie wedding cake and assorted Italian cookies from Ferrara bakery. Nello and team were wonderful to work with and the pricing was great. The taste and presentation of the cake was beyond all our expectations! We received so many compliments from our guests on both the cake and cookies. We look forward to ordering millefoglie from Ferrara for many anniversaries to come!

The cannolis and rainbow 🌈 (tri layer) cookies are not the greatest in Chicago. Better in New York
for sure. Chicago's little Italy 🇮🇹 seems like it has seen better times. The tiramisu is good 👍 🙂. This place has been there a long time ⌛️. Definitely a nice place to sit down and eat and drink.

Don't sleep on this place. I tried the Soup of the Day (chicken noodle), and the Tuscan Chicken Sandwich W/Pesto Aioli, and a Cafe Latte and it was sooooo good! I'm def going to become a regular at this place. Def a great meal if you want to be healthy/post-workout, or don't want a heavy meal. Wish they were open longer though and very close walking distance from my house (: 5/5 highly recommend.

An original gem that's left from the old neighborhood of Taylor St. Great food, great bakery items to choose from. Nice place to sit in for lunch. Cannot go wrong with anything here. Prices are good for the quality of food you get. Hope it stays around for another 100 years.

I really love this place, but today I ordered a beef & sausage sandwich to go, but I didn't get the sausage,
