This place is good for cheap shots and decent bar food. It can get a little hectic here because of its proximity to UIC and the United center. But over all, the food quality and prices are great for a bar outing.
Fun little place, decent food, decent happy hour specials, service is hit or miss, but pretty friendly. Repeat customer.

Just turned 21 a few days ago and visited this place near the UIC campus. Great ambient and people to hang out with and get drinks in. Hawkeyes is a really nice bar. It's located in Chicago's medical district. They have a great staff very efficient and great food. It's a college bar so it's gets pretty busy

Tasty food & great ambiance. The window seating is really nice, too. Our waitress was very friendly, efficient, & experienced. I really like their Red Line drink. I definitely recommend this place to those who love a good wrap/burger! :)
Had no food, bar is clean and clean smelling, lots of staff if I need anything, entire second floor nothing going on, you can really tell this economy has people at home a lot more often than not.
