The 1st time I had Obbies Pizza was over 35 years ago. They are still the best pizza in Chicago to this day
Been living in the area forever and didn’t know about this Gem until last year!!! Pizza is thin crust and super crispy. The sauce and sausage make it even yummier! Super Awesome cause you can watch the Pizza Artist at work while wiaiting through the window. Customer service is 100% and always friendly. Always get the order right. My son raves about their wis as well! Must try! Sorry ate up the pizza before we could take a pic. They are not skimpy on the always fresh toppings!
Obbie’s Pizza is delicious ! Thin crust extra crispy is what you will get, in other words; Tavern Style! They say if it comes in paper packaging you know you’re in for something good! Went with cheese & veggies and was definitely pleased. Thank You !
Recently started ordering from Obbies, the problem is we haven't stopped. I look for almost any excuse to order from them. The pizza is really good. Some refer to it as tavern style, I refer to it as damn good pizza. Reminds me of some of the pizza places I grew up with that just made a pizza that brings back memories. Nothing fancy, simply great pizza. The way it should be. I'm I old school, but it works. So does their spaghetti, baked mostaccioli bring and appetite that is a healthy portion. Overall, it is a great neighborhood pizza place. Don't take my word for it. Try it for yourself. In the meantime, enjoy.

Obbie's is thin and crispy at the edges. It gives you the feel of indulgence with it being very cheesy and slightly greasy. We have ordered pepperoni, sausage, spinach and mushrooms with jalapeños. If you ask for extra sauce, you get it! Italian beef is not available as a pizza topping, which is a must for people that don't eat pork. I'm not crazy about the fries. I've also had their BBQ chicken. That was yum. 😋
I did cheese on top of cheese! So freaking delicious! The sauce was great. The crust was thin not so toasty, so I will order the same but well done next time. Will definitely be back for more. Wanna try their wings.
Totally worth the drive. Generally it takes me 15 minutes but during the polar vortex I was craving their pizza and it took me 45 minutes to get their and it was so worth it. The thin crust is what I generally get it's not so dough like and the veggies are loaded on. I can't believe it took me so long to come across this place.
Always wanted to try this place out been there for a very long time so it has to be doing something right an so I order a pizza I see why they have great reviews pizza was awesome will be definitely recommending this place to people an as well be going back to order pizza again
Dude. Fast for deep dish deliciousness. They said 45 minutes but it was definitely quicker and it was beyond worth the wait. I'm from out of town and just wanted to experience Chicago pizza. Blown away. Also, love that it doesn't come in a cardboard box. Cardboard circle, foil on top, in a big paper bag. Wish they did this back home. Can't wait to visit again. Pizza Perfection
Man that pizza was every thing to ask for fresh extremely hot and not afraid to load on the toppings and cheese I have no complaints I'm coming back again and again the toppings was loaded to the max I didn't have to ask the restaurant is it on their I was satisfied
Absolutely fantastic thin crust pizza. The sauce is not overly sweet. The sausage is not over done with fennel. The crust was still crispy after a forty minute drive. Delicious hot or cold. Definitely one of Chicago's best thin crust pizzas. Try it you will not be disappointed.
