Lost Larson makes the most delicious pastries!! We got the Almond Croissant, the savory Kale and Cheddar Scone, and the Quiche, all of which were delicious in their own way. The croissant is light and flaky with plenty of almond filling. The quiche was creamy and fluffy with a salty, meaty flavor and more filling than you would imagine. The scone was moist and full of flavorful. No wonder this place is always packed! Even though it was busy, the service is quick and welcoming and the quality is always top tier. I can’t wait to go back to Lost Larson!

I enjoyed every single baked good I tried here. My favorite was the cardamom bun. The matcha I ordered was also great. Limited indoor seating but they have outdoor seating in the front and back of the building.

Wow just wow. I had the best decaf latte ☕ I've ever tasted in my life... and the pastries are decadent, creative, delicious and unique! 🥐🍮 The chocolate hazelnut croissant was one of the most delicious things I've tasted. It reminded me of Austrian chocolates. The cinnamon bread pudding was incredible. It had some tasty, spicy bits, maybe candied citrus rinds? and was simply incredible. The almond croissant is sweet, and the flavor of almond is throughout the croissant, but isn't overwhelming, and neither is the paste inside. I would highly recommend this pastry shop, and I'm going back for coffee in the morning if I can get there!!

little bakery with rotating menu and fresh goods. cinnamon rolls are huge, and the hint of lemon in the icing added a nice dynamic to the flavor. it was fluffy but also dense. cardamom bun was good and chewy. a little pricey but i’d be interested in trying more.

Pastries comparable to the ones I’ve had in Europe. Absolutely amazing! I also really appreciate that you could order online for pick up the next morning rather than having to get there when they first open to avoid missing out on something you wanted.

Lost Larson is an adorable bakery-cafe in Chicago. Their coffee is really delicious, and their bakery looks tempting and smells amazing. I tried their Kouign Amann, and it was crispy, sweet with a touch of saltiness—absolutely delicious!

Lovely atmosphere, delicious offerings. Our visit (one drink and one bakery item per person) was more pricey than expected, but my budget was limited to begin with. It was a good opportunity for me and my sibling to treat ourselves towards the end of her visit. It was a hot and breezy outside with lots of sunshine, but sitting in the front corner nook by the windows was comfortable- especially with the air conditioning. Also, the princess cake slice was huge. :^)

I am absolutely obsessed with this bakery. You can smell the sweet smells of pastries and coffee when you walk in. There is a cute little flour mill behind a glass case that adds to the ambiance. If you are in the neighborhood, you are going to want to pop in. Kudos to this little shop and to the people who have created it.

We saw that this was on a Best Bakery in America list, so decided to try it when we were in the area, and that title is really not an exaggeration! We sampled cinnamon rolls, a chocolate and almond croissants, and an adorable little almond lingonberry cake, and all were buttery, flaky, melt in your mouth deliciousness. Truly transcendent.

My wife and I love coming to Lost Larson. The chocolate croissant is to die for. We try to make a visit at least once a week. If we lived in the area, we would definitely stop by more often.
