Flippin' hectic!!! Sat at the bar, ordered red wine while evbody else nursing Bud lite. Nobody drinks wine at this place so bar keep was giving hefty pours, she said she had to get rid of the wine because it was taking up shelf space. Ceres was bangin' bruh!!!!

Grabbed a couple drinks waiting for the Metra. Service and drinks were spectacular. Can't wait to come back and try some of the food options as well.

Ceres is one of the remaining true classic Chicago bars where you can go to unwind after work, be around great people, and served by friendly and professional staff. I've been going to Ceres off and on for over 15 years and it's always a pleasure to see the staff and sit at some of my favorite tables. If you're visiting Chicago and will be near LaSalle and Jackson in the financial district - pop on in for their iconic "Ceres Old Fashioned"!

Stopped in for a late lunch and apparently HEAVY POUR! Sheesh they are heavy handed. Food was surprisingly delicious. We tried the Turkey burger sliders very well seasoned and on the larger side for a slider, turkey club and a Chicken Caesar salad both were flavorful and fresh!

Popular spot for post work drinks for anyone working downtown. You'll find alot of stock exchange bros and federal employees wandering around. To note: if you order a mixed drink like a rum and coke... you will get a glass of rum and can of coke on the side. They don't mess around here.

This is one of my favorite bars to meet up with friends who work downtown. The bartenders are super friendly and knowledgeable. There is one absolutely amazing waitress, Pilar. She is gorgeous and sweet and makes dining at this bar so very pleasant even when she's super busy! Please tip her well she's very hardworking and tries to make sure everyone is having a good time!

Coming to Ceres after a local friend's recommendation. Asked for a good recommendation to Maria, who's been working for Ceres for 25+ years, and she told me I wont be disappointed. She was right. All of the staff were very attentive and generous. I had a great last meal at Chicago and hope to be back again soon.
