We tried the ham and cheese and it’s good, we also had one with bacon. Nice place have breakfast. Prices are reasonable.
Good bagels and amazing coffee! Can get super busy on weekend mornings. Ordering on the app potentially saves a lot of time. Never really got an incorrect order like others did but then I only had bagels. Staff is decent and helpful in making changes to the order if you need to. A little more cleanliness would be amazing though!
I was searching for “bagel sandwitch” on Google and this place popped up. Went for a couple of deli sandwiches. The place was clearly understaffed, like every restaurant in Illinois right now, with quite a line of customers. However the employees pushed on sweating and trying to be pleasant. Not an easy task. Sandwiches were great and service was surprisingly fast, given the situation. People, please give restaurants a break during the labor crunch, these people are fighters.
Good quality bagels at a reasonable price. As chains go they are by far the most consistent.
We routinely get them for work too and they are always fresh.
My friend and I went there this morning when we were running behind schedule. The food was AMAZING. I got the Santa Fe and I’m dying to go back.
The food was ready in a timely manner. They were kind of busy so it wasn’t like it came out instantaneously like it seems most people expect these days.
Definitely going back before my trip in Chicago ends.
It was my first time at an Einstein Bagel. The staff was friendly and helpful with recommendations. I found the store to be clean and found a table to eat. Lots of guests enjoying the morning paper or grab n go items. Delicious food!
The only reason i didn't give you all five stars was bc the first young lady who took my sandwich order had an attitude when i placed my order and seemed visibly perturbed by me asking if you offered Turkey bacon. She took away from my experience unneccessary.
A few months ago I'd have rated 3 stars, but they cook they eggs in house now, so that's a HUGE improvement. They can be a bit slow in the morning, even when there isn't much of a line, but it's probably the best fast breakfast in the area.
There used to be a tiny, older Asian woman that worked there. She would compliment everyone on their names. She made the start of your day special. I haven't seen her lately, so the place has lost all of its personality.
Still good food, though.
I've visited this location a few times and they have always been consistently prompt and accurate. My favorites are the Nova Lux paired with an iced Caramel High Rise.
Update: Still in love with this place and excited about the Super Nova Lux. Also huge thanks to Zara. Each time I have visited she's been here and is communicative, friendly, attentive, and always gets my order right! Thank you Zara for making this my favorite location.
Usually very quick place to grab a fresh bagel and coffee. Occasionally they are overwhelmed by customers and you have to wait to order and to get your bagel. They almost always have coffee ready to go as well. Inexpensive, for being so close to Michigan Ave.
