The Garage Bar & Sandwiches

My friends and I have been coming here for years, before they even built out and used the spectacular rooftop that they have now. The server Erin has been with the bar for a long time and she is always super friendly, attentive, and very good at what she does. We love coming by just to visit her and catch up! Overall, this bar has the best ginormous pretzel that goes along with the best dips. It comes with queso, honey mustard, and their house-made beer cheese. It’s truly the best I ever had and everything else on their menu is tasty. I don’t think I’ve ever had anything that I didn’t like here. Other recommendations: the bone-in wings, cauliflower wings, and the alforno sandwich!😋

Randomly picked this spot for a dinner and drinks with friends and it turned out great. We thought about sitting on the rooftop but got a nice spot right in front of the garage door which was open on a cool summer night. Great food, service, and drinks. The tater tots are amazing definitely add a basket to whatever you order.

We started with the Fried Cauliflower. We have had fried Cauliflower at other restaurants, this tasted like they fried fresh Cauliflower when ordered, not frozen stuff. The Michelangelo was an exciting turn on a Chicken Parmesan sandwich, deep fried chicken breast on Italian focaccia. The fish tacos are slightly spicy.

Very good bar / restaurant with awesome outdoor seating in their rooftop. They've got quite an extensive beer selection that you can order in a tasting if you'd like. There's also a giant menu of food. During my visit I had the fried cauliflower and the fried green beans which were both excellent. Heads up that that chipotle mayo is quite spicy. My wife ordered the Mad Hatter which she said was very good. It can get quite packed during game days, so show up early to make sure you get a seat.

9/2022 5* Food was fantastic. Our server Zoe was amazing. She did awesome! Mac & Cheese Empanadas were great. My Build a Burger was crazy good. And the Fiesta Fields Salad was tremendous. The spice on the chicken was a little much for our taste. But overall we would order it again. Almost tried the Fried Oreos, but we were just too full! We will be back again for sure!

Great place to visit and get some good tasting food. I don't recommend the elote, it is not the typical street corn served at Mexican food carts. Good drink selection, service was friendly and polite. Restaurant windows were wide open for fresh air. Tables were pretty sticky, might be the coating mixed with cleaner spray. Rooftop wait was about an hour and packed towards 6pm.
