Pancake Cafe

Great breakfast spot. Food is a little pricey but you get a lot and it's quality. Honestly the IHOP across the street is nearly the same price and a million times worse in portion size and quality. This place is great, and your food comes out quickly. Meat lovers omelette with pancakes and hashbrowns. Edit: watch out for side of bacon it's 8 bucks for 3 slices not worth the price

Great food served quickly! I usually come here with a group, and often we get lucky and Gerardo and Jasmine serve us. Gerardo knows us by now and is a delight to work with, taking complicated orders and cashing us out individually, which is much appreciated. Gerardo and Jasmine are always welcoming and enthusiastic and it makes it a pleasure for our group to go there. Also, the menu is extensive and we always enjoy the food.

The pancakes are so good, I recommend them stuffed with pecans. The loaded hash browns are so dangerous. The bacon is extra thick. I always get my eggs cooked correctly here, too. The tea is from a fountain machine, so it opt for the coffee instead. They have cute brunch cocktails. It's cute inside and the staff is always friendly. This is an ideal spot to work through a hangover, or start a long day. They have lots of options for kids for breakfast treats, too. There is outdoor seating if that's your thing, plenty of high tops and regular tables inside, and a full bar.

Wonderful place to get delicious, generous portions, for a very reasonable price! Hubs and I went for brunch before the Cubs game. He got the sausage Benedict (perfectly poached eggs, and the English muffin had a lovely crispy crunch to it. Lovely hollandaise, too) I had the simple 2 eggs with sausage, and pancakes that even came with a choice of potatoes, so I went with Cubed Reds. (Outstanding!! The sausages were plump with just the right amount of flavor. Eggs cooked to a perfect Over Easy, and the Red Potatoes were ridiculously yummy. Fluffy on the inside, as if boiled, then cut, and crispy in the outside having been put on a flat top. And the pancakes were scrumptious. Obviously homemade, I tasted so many flavors that made me super happy) And the Bloody Mary was one of the best I've had. Top it all of with a fantastic atmosphere, and one of the kindest servers, Rachel, this will be our new go-to for sure!

My girlfriend took me here for my birthday breakfast, so of course, I had to order the birthday pancakes! It was mentioned that it was my birthday so they put a candle in my pancakes, sang to me, and gave me a free mimosa - it was all a really nice surprise! The pancakes were light, fluffy and delicious. The avocado toast was also really good but huge - 2 pieces of toast, 2 eggs and hashbrowns. The brewed Coffee was also quite good, which is important to me at a breakfast spot. The service was fantastic and the restaurant itself was very clean and had a great vibe. I highly recommend a visit.
