Server was outstanding. She was very sweet, attentive, efficient, and professional. We decided to share the pork rib dinner. Without even asking, the kitchen cut the portions in half, giving each of us a meal on our own plate. That nice girl treated us as if we ordered two separate meals. My plate pic is a half portion.
This was my first visit, so I can't judge all the food by only tasting one menu item, but I can tell you I was dissatisfied with the pork ribs. Mainly because the sauce was mediocre at best. I know ribs dry out fast, but you could tell these were left over from lunch for the early evening crowd. Sauce had no zip.. and I've tasted BBQ sauce from Texas to Tennessee. Looked like made-from-scratch. I recommend adding a quarter cup smoke to each gallon.
It appears to be a good place to dine and have fun, but I didn't like the pork ribs. Ask to taste the BBQ sauce if you're thinking about the beef ribs. Value for the money is low because this place is a little high priced for the offering.
Recommend?.. hmm.. sure, why not. Maybe the pizza's good.😎
Great food and atmosphere. Their thin crust pizza is the best in Chicago. Try their minestrone soup too.
Very good food with.reaonable prices..
A excellent selection of entrees and Pizza's
I had the Angel Hair Florentine with Spinach.
The dish was excellent and the portion was huge.
Classic Italian restaurant with good food and off-street parking. Friendly wait staff and good service.
Take your nana here, she will be delighted. Nursing home vibes. Thermostat turned up to 80. Makes me want to nod off in my chair until someone yells out "bingo!". Food is a total snooze. Menu is tired, begging for a quick and painless end to it's existence. That menu definitely drank out of a garden hose when it was a child. That menu voted for Ronald Regan. That menu voted for Ford. That menu voted for Nixon. That menu voted for Eisenhower. Decor is alright but I gotta admit I love the outdoor igloos, wish that's where we were sitting. Service is good. Your Gramps will love it. Hopefully he picks up the tab again this year.
4.4 stars. Great experience as indoor dining gets under way. Boisterous (a bit bawdy after 8pm) crowd near bar but great to hear laughter again. We enjoyed a great sirloin burger, eggplantparm, sides and drinks in an intimate yet comfy booth. Dinner was $66 for two+ tip. Bathroom was clean and a B+. Notable in my view, are the drinks...Great pours of my top shelf Scotch and my companions Kettle One Martini, how did they know we wanted a double? Desserts looked great going by, maybe next time.
Colletti's is slightly better suited for adults than kids after 6pm near the bar , IMHO.
Outside seating was available in Orbs and tables near fireplaces on their patio. Live music outside with dancing. Great service and complimentary bread with yummy roasted garlic in savory olive oil dip with herbs.
I highly recommend this Italian Supper Club.
Always a good time. The NW side is lucky to have this place. Good food, good service, quality cocktails in a great setting. Indoor, outdoor, bar setting, dining room, igloos. You can't beat it.
Great food and awesome staff. We ate on the patio with a two piece band playing Duke Ellington, Cole Porter and others. Piano and drummer playing with brushes. Had a real good time! Bar was ample, they had some parties going on in their private rooms. Best shrimp scampi, or server was busy and still took care very good care of us. Ambodonza!!
After living in the neighborhood for about 20 years, my girlfriend and I finally stopped in to Colletti's to celebrate both of our belated birthdays. The soup, calamari, and both pasta entrees were sooo good. My friend got a margarita and I got a chocolate martini - Delicious! 🥰 On top of that, our server served us both with a complimentary birthday ice cream, song, and candle ☺️ Thank you so much! 10/10 - will definitely be coming back!
My friend and I like to sit at the bar and drink wine and order dinner. I have never had anything I did not like. I must say the pizza is pretty awesome too. Staff is amazing!
Our server was great. Italian Sausage with crisp fries were very nice along with the Fettuccine Alfredo. Comfortable atmosphere in this long standing establishment.
Came in for dinner. Karen (server) took wonderful care of us. She was so friendly and attentive. The food came out prompt. Loved the Italian wedding soup, chicken Parmigian & raspberry vinaigrette salad.
The food was delicious, eaten here many times over the years inside, Our first outdoor sitting was very nice. Perfect weather. A friendly reminder to management, staff needs to clear UNDER the table. Lunch, 6 adults $123 no drinks.
The atmosphere at this restaurant is enjoyable. The music, fancy glassware, cleanliness and peacefulness make it classy and pleasant.
The lasagna and kid's spaghetti were very good. The meatball sandwich was alright. The soup was ok. The ribs were good. Unfortunately, the kids cheeseburger was very dry, burnt and barely edible. Overall it was more expensive with the same quality as a much cheaper venue. I recommend eating the pasta on the menu for children and adults.
I fibbed. This is a 10 star restaurant twice as good as any 5! Better than Alfredos in Rome when Alfredo made his specialty tableside and let me lick the pan, better than the 5 star in Naples/Amalfi Coast where you sat cliffside at sunset and ate drank & sang thru 10 courses and way better than any pizza in Florence!!!!The food was great, the bar looked outstanding (better than Achatz's bar only joint), the decor was perfection( reminded me of Como Inn during their hay day), the staff was attentive and covered for each other seamlessly, the music was CLASSIC and I' m sure the Chairman, Deanno and Perry would approve....heck I expected to see them wander by any second. They had a private dining room for events. Collettis is family friendly, kid friendly and neighborhood friendly. They deliver and THEY CATER. Great for business lunch meetings in your office, great for friends, great for romance too! I'd have to use a dictionary/thesaurus to use enough compliments. And did I mention the chef (if he has ingredients) will whip up anything you'd like that isn't on the menu that day? Try their turkey, bacon avocado sandwich for lunch. Or the lasagna, blackened Tilapia, ravioli di Lara (fish specials thru Lent!) OMG veal lemone or sweet potato fries.....long timers at the next table were remembering their faves. ..heck "never had a bad meal here". They kept going thru below zero, 24" of snow, nothing stopped them. Just remember "All roads lead to Colletis". Free parking, great music great food....hope they keep going another 75 years! Fantastico! (And if you know the side street short cuts, good for long layovers at O'Hare) AND ACCESSIBLE BY PUBLIC TRANSIT!
Sarah (aka Penelope's) took excellent care of us- she is a great bartender with a fantastic sense of humor and style! Thank you! Food was great and Sylvia was so helpful as well!
You gotta go there for a great experience @
Delicious food, great environment and friendly staff. Diverse menu and seating options. From outside igloos to inside fireplace or even bar. Steak lobster tail mashed potatoes mix of veggies, fries. All delicious. Thank you so much so making my birthday special !
