This was the bar to hang out just before the Bears game at Soldier Field on Sunday. The atmosphere was great. The business is geared to cater to the fans. The service is cheerful and efficient. They have parking and a free bus ride to Soldier Field and that’s a huge draw. But even otherwise looked like they have a pretty loyal clientele.

We went to Da Bears game and got our minds and tummies ready so we can keep our heads in the game. The food was great, their Bloody Mary is delicious, and beer, they got you! The food was good and service, on point, you won't be disappointed, and for home games, they also offer free shuttle rides to and from Soldier Field.

The fish and chips were good and the service was great! The restaurant was so packed when I first tried it I couldn't get a table but the next day I was able to get a seat at the bar. Really good selection of beer!

We were a group of High School best friends who haven't been together in 23 years. Franklin Tap was walking distance from the hotel. The service was friendly, food was very good, $5 Bloody Mary's, delightful! Prices were very fair.

Our visit to Franklin Tap was a great call. At lunch, our orders were surprisingly good, and the sports vibe was just right. The service was fantastic, so we couldn't resist coming back on Saturday. Franklin Tap is definitely the spot for tasty food and pre-game excitement before Sunday's game.

An excellent selection of beer to pick from. Lots of cans in addition to a decent tap list. The service was quick and personable without being overbearing. We didn't try the food, but will certainly be back to have another go at the beer list!

Best Beer Bar near Union Station.
This place has a great beer selection and is only 7 minutes walking from Union Station making it the perfect place to grab one more beer before your train. Or for a beer and food when you arrive.
The place was well staffed even though it wasn’t crowded. They were all friendly and attentive.
