I was in town for business and my Airbnb was right next to Links. The reviews were good so I knew I’d have to try. Keep in mind, this is Wicker Park with TONS of restaurant and bar options. Really glad I decided to come here though! If you want super flavorful sausage and just about any beer you could think of, I suggest you come here as well. Both bartenders were really knowledgeable, friendly, funny and attentive but not overly obnoxious. I sat at the bar top so I had someone “waiting” on me, but I think if you sit at one of the tables you order from the bar. There aren’t any specific servers. The restaurant has tons of TVs and that particular Sunday, the Bears game was on. They were playing the sound as well. The restaurant had a good crowd but wasn’t entirely full. This is probably a really good place to watch a game and avoid the crowds. My Chicago Steak and Ale sausage was delicious. The dill horseradish sauce was tangy and the perfect accompaniment to the bold sausage and onions. The fries were meh. Not the most amazing I’ve ever had but still worth the order if you’re feeling like fries. The two beers I tried were awesome, and coming from Seattle we have some pretty great choices. Definitely would come back here again if I’m in the area!

Great neighborhood bar. Solid staff. And you can write near anonymous passive aggressive notes to your fellow patrons via chalk walls in the bathroom. A1 experience.

From what I remember this place was good to go. I think we rolled elsewhere after a bit but enjoyed the cocktails and beverages. Typical bar, no problems, get a drink and be chill. Yep.

Really good flavorful comfort food, great beer selection (really appreciate their beer boards to see what's available and how much is left) and excellent friendly service.

First off, can't believe I haven't reviewed this place as I've been going here since it opened. Links is always a great decision! The beer menu is unrivalled, the prices are decent, and the sausages are excellent. This is not the best place for veggies, but excellent for fries & a good homemade brat. I've always had great service here, just know that you can seat yourself and order at the counter for both drinks & food. It's great for larger groups but it can be loud at peak hours.

Absolutely stellar beer selection! The digital screens on the walls constantly update what the tap levels are along with pertinent beer info. Their fries are delicious though the mac and cheese was sub-par. Service was decent, especially given a packed house during a World Series game. Music from their vinyl collection was great.

Great place for a meal or just some bar snacks, but more importantly, one of the best beer bars in the city. ever changing and always up to date, the taps always feature the hard to find, the rare and the always delicious. the can and bottles has everything from classics to the experimental. Great food with an amazing vibe.

A really great beer bar with an impressive amount of quality, mostly local beers. Their food is also worth checking out, as the Italian beef sandwich I had was really delicious. They were also playing horror movies for the month of October when I was there, which was fun too.

Download the app digitalpour before you go here to see what they have on draft. Now you can search all kinds of good beers near you, not just what's at link's. After figuring out how the place works, we enjoyed everything. All the food we had was delicious, I can't wait to try more. Decent beer selection too, with knowledgeable bartenders .
