Our neighborhood (and favorite) sushi place, where they know our names and our favorite menu items. The fish is always fresh - the salmon especially is perfect. Staff is great, always attentive. It's not overly fancy (not overpriced) and it's not a dive. Just a good, solid sushi restaurant with an excellent menu. Our favorites are Green Turtle and Himachi special. Patio is best when the weather is nice. BYOB.

Very small & cramped facility that is both plain and boring. The staff was great and very friendly. Really made an effort to make our visit enjoyable. Sushi and sashimi was excellent. There is no doubt some of the best sushi I have eaten in a while.

Great local sushi spot with an outdoor patio. The rolls are large and filling and the spring rolls (especially the sauce) are fabulous. They have 1/2 off your first speciality roll on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Amazing deal! Volcano Roll is our fan fav!

One word: WOW! Highly impressed. Stopped in Chicago for sushi and I am so happy we came here! This is the best sushi I have EVER had, hands down. My family also agrees. The spring rolls were also so delicious that we ordered a second portion after we ate the first. I loved every sushi roll we ordered and we got 6. The jalapeño sauce was unbelievable. Amazing food, extremely nice staff and even better price! I highly recommend this place if you’re in the area. We will be coming back the next time we are in town!!!

Very good sushi, fish was fresh and at very reasonable prices for the quality! Would highly recommend, and not busy at all when we went.

Every single item was delicious. The food just tasted fresh and clean, every ingredient has a purpose. It was prepared by a true Japanese chef. Loved the shrimp udon and even took one to go. Came in one hour before closing and the service was excellent. We did not feel rushed. Will come back.

Incredible sushi and service! BYOB! Waitress was so friendly and attentive. We visited the fist time in March (2022) and are here again tonight (April 2022). They have gluten free soy sauce and are very accommodating with special requests (like removing crunch or bonito flakes).

Great sushi spot in the south loop! I have ordered from here many times in the past And didn’t know it was BYOB until today which was a nice surprise! Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, and the quality of the fresh fish was amazing! Will definitely be back :)

We were in a hurry and felt like having sushi and this place was really close by. Probably one of the best sushi places in Chicago. Everything was fresh and delicious! All the rolls that had salmon were my favorite! I also loved their squid salad and uni! Staff was super friendly and helpful.

Had a quick dinner here before a concert at Soldier Field. My friends each ordered a few rolls and I had the sushi deluxe platter, everything was well prepared and delicious. The staff was attentive and quick to notice when waters needed filling, etc. Great place to eat, best if you can sit on the outside patio.

This place is consistently so good. They never miss the mark on freshness and presentation and have always gone above and beyond with any and all special requests I’ve made to accommodate dietary restrictions. My favorite order is the tuna tataki with ponzu, salmon avocado roll with seaweed on the outside (it’s better this way, trust me), a cucumber salad and miso soup. Sometimes I’ll order the spicy hamachi special roll. I use the lemon ponzu to dip all the sushi and it’s one of ny trusty go to’s several nights a week.
