The Hampton Social - Streeterville

It’s a nice place, vibe and decoration. make u feel like are in somewhere by the beach. We went there for brunch. Love the food and choices. This place is a big varieties of a Rose wine. If you are a fan, this place won’t disappoint you. Great Staff from Host to everyone else. There is a live music as well. It’s another place i recommended for brunch or whenever meal. Oh and there are 2 floors, many spaces.

Food was amazing! I came Sunday early afternoon around 1pm-ish. Excellent Service all the way around. From the hostess to the servers to the bartenders. I only got one one of the bartender name, Nigel, he was super attentive. Grilled octopus is a MUST. first time ever trying octopus (I'm a calamari kinda girl lol) and I damn near licked the plate clean! So good - HIGHLY RECOMMEND

We found that place on Google and since it had good reviews, we had to try. He got there at 9:50am and the place opened at 10am. It was already a huge line outside and that increased our expectations. We didn't have reservations and the hostess told us to sit at the bar while we were waiting. The hostess looked new, because she seamed lost. The place was pretty big and most of the tables were empty, but OK. We set at the bar and ordered a couple cups of coffee. Before the coffee arrived, they got a table upstairs for us but they told us that we had to pay the bill before going to the table. It didn't make any sense for me since the coffee haven't even arrived but ok, we payed and went to the table. The restaurant was very nice. The environment was very calm and comfortable. The coffee was AMAZING and the food was OK. We had the BANANAS FOSTER FRENCH TOAST ($16), the FRIED CHICKEN STACK ($18), DENVER SCRAMBLE ($16), the BREAKFAST SANDWICH ($16) and GATSBY BREAKFAST ($23). The Sandwich was over-salted and the Chicken Stack very dry and cold. All others were OK. Would recommend for the context but food and service could improve a little bit more. Still would try it again.

The food and the service is simply the best. Had a cocktail for myself and got the Appetizer Grilled Octopus for my main and let me tell you, never missout on this dish. If you're having it on your own, this would be just enough for you. The Bang Bang Chicken was great as well. Cheers to the bartender who has the best service.
