We have eaten at Green Tea Japanese restaurant twice now and will make it a regular choice from now on. We are also going to try their newly opened sister restaurant Tuk Tuk Thai Street on Clark St.

Small shop (maybe 6? Tables total) Great food and atmosphere. They were playing lowfi jazz when I was there. It was very relaxing, and the staff were very nice.

This is a tiny place, so I would say it's intimate and works best for 2 people. The food though is greaaat! I had the seared salmon sushi and it tasted delicious + was filling. The soft shell crab also tasted quite good. The salad serving sizes are huge. Bonus points for hospitality. The wait time for food isnt that bad.

Can not blame the server... there were 6 of us for lunch. 4 had sushi, and 2 ordered from the kitchen. 5 of us had our food and were almost done eating before the ramen came out. We are not sure why his took so long when most of the prep for ramen is done ahead of time. The food was good

The spicy Tonkotsu ramen tasted really good, and so did the crunchy maki roll. Both my partner and I loved eating there!

Cozy, busy, fast, and friendly. Suggest making reservations on weekends and evenings due to limited seating. Baby octopus was amazing. The spicy ramen is 10/10.

One of my favorite places to have authentic Japanese cuisine. I loved the Thai iced tea and the sushi’s here.

Tonkotsu Spicy Ramen here is delicious with the right amount of favor and heat. Also the Chicago Spicy Crazy is tasty (but not very spicy). The waitstaff is attentive, kind, and welcoming. Although the restaurant is small, they accommodated my party of 5 very well. I enjoyed my dining experience and will look to visit again when in the area.
