I enjoyed coming here for my first time and being able to see all the different varieties. I'm looking to up my tea game, and most specifically was seeking out a couple of loose-leaf options. Organized very well by type of tea and the employee on duty was very helpful and even provided us with a free sample. I will certainly be back. Pictured is the Jasmine Pearl in my French press at home which was very tasty.

I've been looking for a reliable ceremonial matcha distributor and I can confirm that this is shop has it. The other selection of teas are also very good, especially their plain blacks. I can confirm that the depth of this tea is far superior from many other shops in the area, and especially compared to large tea companies. The employees at this location are also very nice and helpful. Will buy more and heavily recommend to anyone looking for great tea.

Great place! Employee was very knowledgeable and helpful. The tea is great quality at a great price. It was nice to try a few before committing to a purchase. Nearly all the teas are available to smell and they did offer to let us taste anything we wanted. The gear was great too. Tons of cups, brewing tools and more. The "fandom" teas are unique blends for popular films with collectable tins. They all looked great. We took a couple cups of prepared tea to go. It's great to try something new brewed professionally. With hundreds of options, they beat any coffee shop hands down. I really could have spent all day here.

We stopped in here on a layover in Chicago. They have a large selection of teas, in loose leaf and tea bag form. They have house blends which they create specifically in this shop. They were all very tasty! The staff was very helpful and polite, explaining many of their teas and even making us samples of some we were interested in but hadn’t tried. Their customer service was just awesome, along with their teas. Because we were flying out, they are mailing our purchases for us and I can’t wait to get it in the mail!

Great variety of teas for a good price. The staff there is fantastic! We had Paula for the tea tasting and she was great. Very nice and knowledgeable about all the different kinds of tea and was able to answer all of our questions. Definitely recommend doing the tea tasting there!

I have yet to go to the store but I've been a customer since 2008 and I recommend Adagio Teas to anyone who is a tea drinker or wants to become. You have the option or buying a signature tea or creating your own blend. I've created 3 signatures teas for friends and family. The options are endless. I also love their brewing products, they even added cookies. I can't wait to try them.

I arrived as the shop opened and Betsy had plenty of samples brewed and ready to go. She was friendly and personable, and helped me sample 8 more teas as per my requests and her recommendations. The shop is beautifully put together, I love the points earning system, and the samples given to me with my purchase were very generous. High quality teas with very knowledgeable and passionate staff.

Really great first experience shopping for tea. The staff was super friendly and very informative; I love that they also drink the product. I was able to smell the teas and there were smaller sample sizes available to buy. While the prices were already great i got a good deal buy four get one free. I also purchased the tea honey.

It's not often that I'm moved to write a review, but my experience at Adagio Teas was fantastic. The store is in a prime location just a few blocks from the heart of downtown Chicago, but it still felt very personal. Nicole, the employee who was working while I was there, was enthusiastic and knowledgeable about all of the different teas that they had to offer. Furthermore, their prices for loose leaf tea were incredibly wallet-friendly. I was able to sample several different teas in-store, as well, which helped with my decisions for what I should purchase. I'll definitely be returning to Adagio Teas, and also letting my friends know that if they're looking for tea, they need to look no further than this place.
