Loved this place. It was so festive and cozy. Food was delicious, especially the menudo. Although my husband enjoyed their huge burrito. My Tia had the carne asada with these big round potato fries. The waitress and waiters were very attentive and very nice. They made us laugh and made us feel very at home. We were also there when they had a singer. He was wonderful but the mic was a little too loud. Other than that, it was an enjoyable dinner!

We stopped by during the parade and the service was incredible. We received a complimentary barbacoa taco per guest and complimentary chips with salsa. The server was quick and courteous. I was a bit disappointed that they only had sets of 3 tacos but I understood. We weren’t that hungry, especially after the chips and tacos so we ended up splitting a few meals among my party of 5. At the end, they offered us complementary arroz con leche and it was delicious. As we were dining, there was a big flow of people looking to enter and the servers were impressively quick to accommodate, even big parties. I was very pleased with the service and food, looking forward to visiting again.

Went to Chicago for the weekend and decided to look up a place to eat before heading home and I’ve got to say I’m so glad we checked this place out the service is very good even when they’re super full. The food was amazing I can honestly say it was the best Mexican food I’ve had at a restaurant almost if not exactly what my moms cooking would taste like. Wish I had a place like this close to home but I 1000000% recommend. The only downside would be finding parking but we struggled with that for most of our Chicago trip.

My father has been bringing us to this location since I was a kid, so 30+ years. We had the opportunity of sharing that tradition with another generation. It is never a disappointment here. Of course as I have aged my pallet has grown and the divirse menu allows you to try so much. The chips and pre appetizers are a bonus included in every visit as well as the dessert rice pudding to end your meal. Staff is friendly and accommodating and you will enjoy your time here.

Excellent all around! It’s beautiful outside and the food is top notch. We had chicken enchiladas and frijole tostadas. Everything was amazing, but I especially loved the rice and beans.
