Lovely Gem of a restaurant. Beautiful dessert menu with pairings, great conversations at the bar. Approachable. Nice that one can walk in and sit at the bar without reservation, and have a Michelin star experience without much fuss. Do the tasting menu if you have the time and don’t skip the. Read service.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Entente! Having been to a couple Michelin star places in Europe this spot had a vibe all to its own which we loved. Very attentive service and more than anything down to earth servers who could have a normal conversation with you. They were amazingly knowledgeable on the dishes and food but then could switch off and just chat about what they're watching on Netflix...literally. We also loved the fact that they had hip-hop playing. Coming on a Sunday night was a plus as it was not very busy and a bit more intimate. The tasting menu is a must (literally don't know why you're coming here if not for that), the Wagyu was amazing, the sweetbreads were so fricking good you wouldn't even know it's a sweetbread, and the dumplings were Umami in a bowl. All in all highly recommend, can't really knock our experience for any negatives, they did a great job.

This restaurant does not disappoint. We chose the tasting menu and opted for cocktails followed by a bottle of wine recommended by the sommelier. Cocktails were fabulous. The wine paired wonderfully with each course. Food was outstanding. Wonderful job! Up there with some of the best restaurants we have ever been to.

My wife and I finally arrived at Entente around 9:30, two hours late due to flight delay. We were greeted at the door with a friendly smile, our baggage was tucked away in the back and a wonderful evening ensued. We explained our preference for sangiovese based central Italian wines and Patrick (the sommelier) returned with a bottle from Sicily and said "here, try this, if you don't like it we will get you something else". The wine (not on the wine list) was spectacular and we were treated to a wine experience we never would had otherwise. We ordered four plates: the wedge salad is a play on a very traditional midwestern salad with green goddess dressing, sounds sort of ordinary, but it's not, it's a very fresh explosion of flavor, one of the best things I've had anywhere. The carolina gold rice was essentially truffle risotto, creamy and tasty, The pork belly was 'cubes' of pork belly with a mustardy peanut sauce, unusual and delicious; The short rib was paired with kimchi and was very interesting, the pork flavor was the essence of bar-b-q while the kimchi was quite hot. Patrick offered some ice cold Riesling to cool off the heat. Overall a very excellent restaurant. My wife and I had a great (late) evening with wonderful food and wine. Josh, our server, was professional and friendly and did a great job helping us navigate the menu and brought a real friendly 'vibe' to our evening. Highly recommended, I can't imagine visiting Chicago without dining at Entente.

On a whim while at a conference in Rosemont and found this gem and they had seating available. Already had dinner so just came for some Alan carte items as a group of (2). Service was Michelin quality, wine was perfectly chilled and in proper glass. Food came also artfully plated and was great. If I had to make a suggestion, I would say that some of the food seemed just not hot enough. Overall great spot, ambiance, design and food.

Entente was fabulous. Highly recommended. Well worth it’s Michelin star. Our server was tremendous and the sommelier was incredibly knowledgeable even with deep experience of Riesling wine, a rarity amongst his colleagues. Food was inventive, tasty and well portioned. Definitely give this unique restaurant with a great vibe and atmosphere a try.

Pretty good dinning experience with the tasting menu. It’s a little bit pricy especially given the fact this restaurant is relatively affordable as a Michelin restaurant. The tasting menu comes with a 10 course menu. The presentation of the dish is very beautiful and I like the duck and salmon the best.

I'm extremely impressed with Entente. I've visited on three different occasions and have always had a wonderful experience. The bar program is definitely one that deserves accolades, my personal favorite the Bees in the Trap is masterfully crafted and perfect for sipping alongside one of my favorite dishes the Wedge salad. The duck dish is also delicious which is accompanied by duck spring rolls (pictured). Service is always attentive and friendly. Would definitely recommend to locals and visitors alike.
