Very nice grilled cheese. We got classics ( 1 with ham, 1 with bacon onion jam and one plain ). Unfortunately, the BACON onion jam was literally onion bacon flavoredish jam, it could use a bit more. The ham option was great! Service was nice, they were friendly, pleasant and quick with the order. I would order again to try another menu option. 8.5/10 - check them out if you are in Chicago

The food was very good... sandwich was hot and filling, mac n cheese was delicious, and their chips were also delicious and fresh. I think the staff bring a great deal of heart with them to work, and made for a perfect experience. If you're stuck for which soda to get, I loved the Champagne Soda - which was a staff pick.

The grilled cheese is amazing, the soup is amazing. A lot of what they have here is locally sourced. This place is a good representation of Chicago’s famous cuisine. Definitely a place to go when you’re looking for good food options.

Good Gluten Free grilled cheese and tomato soup. They will ask if you are celiac or just gluten free to make sure they prepare your meal extra safe. Food was good but not 💯 what I expected. I thought it was going to be on gf bread but it was on pita bread. Still would recommend it and come again!

The Loop offers plenty of dining options but for a quick and mostly homemade lunch or snack, check out Gayle V's best ever grilled cheese located in The Pedway. The classic Mac is so good, Mac and cheese wedges into The classic grilled cheese (fresh sourdough). Such cheesy goodness. And try The Jake, it's Gouda, ham and apple butter. Savory and sweet, a perfect balanced Sammie. Want a little something more, you gotta try the tomato pesto soup. Not from a can, all homemade.

Hidden gem! Not easily seen from outdoors, but go underground in the mall toward the red line metro station and you'll find it. Excellent service, amazing sandwiches and very nice atmosphere. 100% recommended.

To elaborate on my 5 star review, this place has a wonderfully calming atmosphere, kind staff and AMAZING food. Always my go to stop on my way from the blue line to red line. This is by far one of my favorite grilled cheese/tomato soup combos!
