Nice, quaint Pub Style establishment in Old Town. Food was average.

Went for a cocktail while waiting for a reservation elsewhere. Friendly staff and good drinks. Person next to me had the wings and they looked delicious!

Been going to Gideon Welles since they opened. We go with my kids after baseball at Welles Park or go with friends to watch a game. Fun for city families while hanging out afternoons in the Square. We always have friendly staff and great regular bartenders. Usually an upbeat crowd, sometimes a bit raucous (good) and lots of neighbors pass through. Large outdoor patio too. I've had many different food items but often get the Buffalo wings... nothing fancy, classic recipe just quality and always on point.

Incredible comfort food. Continuity with Team Members. They offer a reduced shot with a beer. Outdoor and indoor seating. Open area in the back for families. Well done!

We were going to sit inside but it was way too noisy! Entrees were delicious! Pulled pork sandwich is pictured! Service was spot on with the food runner! Met Ralph! He is an incredible professional gentleman!

Great food and the patio was very nice. Dog friendly and the staff even brought out a bowl of water for our pup. They have a nice beer selection and I enjoyed their chicken sandwich. This Shepard's pie is the best looking Shepard's pie I've had in a long time. Tasted great too
