Food is excellent, service is great. We had our daughters baptism reception at Da Nella and everything was superb. We moved to the suburbs now, but still get down as often as possible. Their pasta and pizza are delicious. Get the burrata and calamari for an app. Best calamari you will ever have. The wife worked in a fish market at some point and knows how to prepare it to perfection. The homemade desserts are to die for. I am sort of over tiramisu, but theirs is SO good.

After living in Europe for 10 years, I'm a huge fan of Neapolitan thin crust pizza. I was visiting Chicago and not looking forward to the deep dish casserole they call pizza in Chicago. Fortunately, friends took me to Da Nella, where we had a delicious fresh salad, fine Tuscan wine, and authentic thin crust pizza and calzone. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will return as soon as I get the chance.
Met up at this place with a friend from out of town. Wanted to take him to a local pizza joint that wasn't just one of the large chains. Saw this place written about on Timeout Chicago and jumped on it. This place isn't your typical Chicago Pizzeria. They definitely aim for more authentic Italian pizza. We had the stuffed Ciella Ciella and it was delectable. The dough was soft and warm. The toppings where perfect. Everything was great. We also had great service there. They have a very nice side patio that would be perfect for a nice summer evening. Everyone there was out there, including us. They had it decorated as well to add to the ambiance. Couldn't recommend this place more if your looking for some place other than Giordanos or if you'd like pizza with a blend of American and Italian flavor.
I've been enjoying Da Nella's for 4 years with no less than 24 visits. Calling the food exquisite is undervaluing how incredible it really is. Owners are humble perfectionist with true desire to serve only the very best.
Had a delicious burrata and the pear Gorgonzola salad for starters. We shared the Napoli calzone with sweet salami and ricotta and the spinach white pizza, both were great! We'll be enjoying leftovers tomorrow. Excellent customer service, very friendly waiter and loved their tiramisu!
Incredible pizza. Our waiter was nice, knowledgeable, and did a great job. If you want a special treat and know what pizza is like in Italy go here.
The pizza is delicioso, and you can go sightseeing--there is a clear view of whoever is using the men's urinal every time the door is open. A breadth of experience and excellence. Magnifico!
Great pizza, but make sure to get one per person. They are not the biggest. The spicy pepperoni pizza is amazing.
Love their pizza, it is a superb Italian food experience! Still true to decide if it is better than Forno rosso.
Amazing authentic pizza! Only problem was that the toppings slid off the crust too easily.
2nd time here, 1st with my family. Good food, great service & excellent atmosphere!!! Would recommend it any & everyone one. Wonderful time!
