Chicago style pizza is very well known in this great city. This spiffy little spot located near the Union Station does the Chicago style Pizza exceptionally well! Their motto”we lay it on thick” is really an understatement! Any and every topping you can think of is available for the deep dish style or regular style pizza! When you take a bite of their pizza, it is a delectable, explosion of choice, meats, cheese, and fresh toppings galore! The regular slice pizza was devoured within minutes while I waited for them to bake my deep dish which takes 45 to 55 minutes. Fresh, hot and satisfying pizza at its best! Gracia ensured I got everything I needed and service was with a smile!9.5/10 !
Awesome pizza. Got a thin-crust individual pepperoni. Crust was thin but not too thin, crispy. Lots of toppings by default. A solid layer of pepperoni under the cheese & a few sprinkled on top. Sauce was rich. Tons of cheese. Atmosphere is good ol' pizzeria. Staff, counter and kitchen, are friendly and smiling.

They serve the BEST Gluten Free pizza I've ever had... its a must if you have Celiac disease. It's a deep dish.. The crust was perfect not doughy an it was full of flavor.. I will definitely be returning!!
My husband and I are Southside natives. We moved to Florida 5 years ago. The best part about coming "home" to visit, besides our family and friends, is the food! No one does pizza like Chicago and no one lays it on thicker than Beggars. That means whenever we come home, we have to have a slice. This trip home we brought some friends from Florida who had never been to Chicago. That meant we had to make sure they ate GOOD! So of course we took them to Beggars! We went to the Clinton location. Of course the pizza was great as always! Our friends said it was the best pizza they had EVER eaten! Not only was the pizza great but the SERVICE was even better! The manager Justin, was by far the best manager of a restaurant we've seen in a long time! He welcomed our friends, especially knowing they were New York natives and had never had Chicago style pizza. After we ate, he came to see how they liked the pizza. One thing our friends pointed out was the service and attitudes of servers in New York was bad. I'd like to say THANK YOU to Justin for going the extra mile. The food speaks for itself but Justin's service spoke even louder! GO SOX!!!
We stopped in here at the end of our extended layover visit to chicago from florida before boarding a train for our final destination of St Louis for work. We grabbed two pizzas from beggars to take with us. The toppings were piled on, the order was accurate and everyone there that we spoke with was very friendly. We got a deep dish and a thin crust and both were very different but very good. I would absolutely visit again!
Deep dish by the slice was undercooked, plastic cheese and crust tasted like corn bread. Sauce was good though. not bad for the price but it’s the same quality cheese as frozen pizza. Maybe personal preference but this is my first Chicago deep dish and it was absolutely nothing special.
My favorite pizza place. It's always delicious, always fresh
Beggars Pizza offers a deep-dish individual pizza. Note that the individual pizza still takes 45 minutes. However, the pizza was fully loaded. It was my first time in Chicago so I wanted to try the deep dish. The deep dish was too rich for me, and I could not finish more than two slices. However, I believe that is the nature of the Chicago deep dish that is covered in sauce and full of cheese, pepperoni, and mushrooms.
We went here to grab some dinner before our train. There was some human error with our order, but the staff handled it incredibly graciously. They apologized and we got amazing service. The apps and deep dish are absolutely delicious. We had fried pickles, curds and cheddar bites with a deep dish. Get the extra cheese with your deep dish, you won't be sorry♡
Love this place. Something about that Chicago deep dish that I can't resist. This pizza takes 40min to make but it's absolutely worth it. Oh and this is the smallest they have. An individual and I still couldn't finish it
