Thoroughly enjoyed our trip here. It’s a little confusing when you first walk in, but we figured it out quickly. The food was excellent. We had the green eggs and ham and a bacon egg cheese panini. Both were great. Full of flavor and enough to fill you up. The SOAB smoothie was also really good along with the coffee. Highly recommend.
When you first walk into Peach and Green it can be hard to figure out where to go if it is crowded. I advise if it is your first time to go in when there is nobody in the store. There are 3 separate counters, one for hot sandwiches and salads, one for their buffet, and one for drinks. Why they do this? Nobody knows. At the hot sandwich counter you can easily see all the food displayed out and can watch a staff member make your sandwich. They only have predetermined sandwiches, but they do have Gluten Free Udi's Whole Grain Bread which makes me very happy. Another plus is she changed her gloves when I told her I wanted gluten free bread! They assemble your sandwich on a cute little chopping board lined with parchment paper. They'll then toast your sandwich and for me I had mine to go and they wrapped it in tinfoil. I wish I got one of their to go boxes and was not just handed a hot off the grill sandwich wrapped in tin foil. In winter that may be good to keep your hands warm but definitely not in summer. Pricing was okay, it was about $8-11 for a sandwich and some sandwiches are worth your money. For not having to pay extra for Gluten Free bread I would say that even though my food tasted barely above average I definitely got my money's worth. Would I return? Probably, I am hoping they can do substitutions or modifications for my allergies!
A healthy and fast dining option in the Loop. The juices and smoothies are all so fresh and healthy. I loved the 'build your own' salad option. And the portion sizes are huge! I got two meals out of the 'build your own' salad. Such a treat to have more of these dining options popping up in the Loop.
