Cold Storage - Chicago - Photo album

Stopped in during restaurant week. The staff was great and the service was good. The food was also delicious. For restaurant week, there was a $36 menu and a $48 menu (the difference was the micro seafood tower - not quite sure it was exactly worth the additional $12 - it was good, just very small).
Don’t miss out on these $1 oysters for Happy Hour! They have the cutest patio outside for COVID and had music playing which I loved. Very friendly staff and everything was very tasty. Giving 4 stars because I thought it was slightly overpriced and the menu they have right now is much smaller than wh
Stopped in for restaurant week to get good food for a good price, left still being hungry since the portions were pretty small. That being said, the food was amazing!!! Tasted like gold! The salmon had such a great crunchy crust 😍
This is a review specifically of the Joomak pop-up by chef Eddie Lee in July. This was honestly the best meal I've had this year. Every single dish was phenomenal, though my personal favorite was the beef tartare - the inclusion of pears was very creative. I would recommend getting 2 dishes per pers
Yummy, started with chowder and west coast oysters. Loved it. Had the branzino, red drum and clam dish. Everything was very good. Finished with salted caramel sundae, sinful. Great service and cool space. Will return.
Great seafood. Nice side restaurant to Smith & Sons. Service started a little off but picked up and ended well. Prices are reasonable for great seafood options. The large tower was great. The crab roll was pretty good, would have liked to see a lobster roll option.
Very cool decor centered around the raw bar in the middle. Lots of smaller sharing options as well as larger entrees. Staff is helpful in navigating the menu, which has lots of parts. Tins are fun, and exactly what they sound like. Imagine a large, upscale can of sardines (or clams, mackerel, etc)
The food is definitely expensive but out of this world. I definitely recommend the nashville hot fried shrimp served on Texas toast with slaw. I'm not sure how they got shrimp that big but I'm not going to ask questions because it was so good. I also really enjoyed the crab knuckles but was expec
Great restaurant week choice. Highlight of the meal was the raw seafood tower. Great Service! Space is quite loud but we were still able to make conversation, even though we had to guess a little.
Good seafood and a good, but not great happy hour. Part of swift and sons. You can havr half the surf and turf then go to the dining room switch to red wine and get yoiur turf.
