I had a night cap at Torali bar within the Ritz-Carlton Chicago. This place is beautiful inside and the service was excellent. The atmosphere overall is out of this world! This is a great spot for a sophisticated drink or small bite to eat. I'm sure the full service restaurant here is fantastic as well.
Wow! I eat at many fine restaurants around the country and throughout the planet quite frankly. I'm telling you, this restaurant is amazing. Don't miss this one.
The food is delicious. I got the salmon and lox. Delicious choice. The atmosphere was amazing and relaxed!
Thrilled to spend my birthday lunch here! Beautiful decor and the entire crew was spectacular. When my child asked if they had lemonade the server said "You can have ANYTHING you want" and that felt very special to him. In addition, they were wonderful with food allergies. Our server and the manager took special care to ensure the chef knew about the precautions we needed and the meal was exceptional. Thank you to the entire team.
I stayed at The Ritz-Carlton Chicago hotel so decided to try this restaurant for Mother's day brunch. I am a platinum member of Marriott hotel so had 20% discount which covered my tip for the waiter which was very nice. I didn't take picture of inside of restaurant because there were so many people. It was beautifully designed inside just like the hotel. Food was good but I wouldn't say great. Price was very reasonable. Me and my mother-in-law got tulips for Mother's day which was very nice and thoughtful. I tried lots of restaurant out of hotels but I think it is way better to eat inside of hotel because it is hard to find nice restaurants with great food with reasonable price. If you are staying The Ritz-Carlton Chicago hotel, give it a try!
I haven't eaten here yet ...I'm still deciding which restaurant to go to. However, I did call to ask several questions and the front desk host Jennifer assisted me. She had very good service on the phone , kind in tone, and knowledgeable. I'm from WI so I'm very confused trying to understand downtown Chicago . She helped explain things very well. I may just come here based solely on her phone manner and service. Yes, I will judge a restaurant by who picks up the phone and how they respond to me (as I am a 20 year restaurant service industry veteran). The person on the end of the line is just as important as the person bringing you your drinks/food. She deserves a raise ! :)
Tirolia, located on the 12th floor of the Ritz Carlton fulfills any appetite for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Service was friendly, efficient and delightful. We ordered the bolognese, squid ink scampi, and grilled octopus. All of which we're pretty good - although the pasta is fresh, I didn't care for the noodles [spirals] that accompanied the bolognese dish.
Excellent food, staff and ambiance. We found Torali to be a fantastic dining option during our stay at the Ritz. We kind of stumbled into it after an exhausting day of travel and our original dining plans fell through. I'm glad we did. The food was great. My wife was carb loading, but I think she ate an entire loaf of bread. It was great. I tried the french onion soup as an appetizer and it didn't disappoint. My filet was cooked perfectly and my wife enjoyed her braised beef. Mostly we were just very impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Everyone was very pleasant from the moment we walked into the restaurant. Highly recommend... particularly if you're staying here already.
A nice experience. My 1st time in the Rotz-Carlton Chicago. Nice, airy restaurant/bar. It can accommodate large parties in an open setting. Very “Happy Hour”/“Brunch”esque! I enjoyed a Caesar Salmon with Salmon. The drinks were tasty as well. A relaxing environment has we were not pressured to leave after 2 hours. Metered street parking and hotel parking available.
Fantastic service! All the staff was super attentive but not overbearing at all, my water glass was never empty. Personally my favorites of the night were the cocktails, the bread basket, and the dessert. The main dishes were a bit underwhelming for me but the atmosphere of the restaurant was great so we had no complaints.
