Craving for spicy food? MCCB got it! If you're not a fan of spicy food they also have plenty of non spicy choices. They're specialty is the Applewood Charcoal Grill Whole Fish which tasted delicious! I highly recommend others to come eat here and explore their menu!
Service was great, and the food was excellent we all enjoyed it very much and highly recommend it.
yummy yummy yummy。 Specially their I See Fish,Cumin lamb chop, MCCB style beef and maw,and Hong sue pork belly. I believe you will love it too after you try.

Great food and service. My kids want to go back and try more menu items.
The food was amazing and the people are great, thank you for the great experience guys you rock !
Kai and his team are wonderful! Will be back for more great food & service
Delicious food. Good service.
The szechuan dry hot pot was excellent. It's a build your own dish thing but the flavors are really strong. The pork with garlic sauce was a little lacking though. Not very much pork and the flavor was pretty muted. Everything else was overall good.
Visiting Chicago and decided to head downtown and do China Town. It’s such a fun place and you feel safe and surrounded by people who just want dine and shop and carry on.
I really wanted to give this place 5 stars considering it’s a Michelin rated restaurant. The food is very good and the prices are reasonable considering it’s a Michelin establishment.
We had their famous spicy noodles which ended up just being too oily for us to finish. The shrimp dish we had was good but nothing fancy. We ordered their fish in clay pot and it was really spicy 🥵. However the rib-eye steak was a perfect 5 star. Outstanding and the presentation was wicked awesome.
I docked it a star because the service was ok and we were put into a corner where dish-ware and knickknacks on a shelf were above our head. Felt like we were in a closet. They need to improve their seating and simply take better control of their reservation setup. I would happily pay more for better service and seating.
I went this location on 8/12/2023, I love visiting Chinatown and this restaurant. This is maybe my second time visiting. I'm able to order a lot of different food items at a decent price. Each time I have always have amazing custom services. Usually there is a wait time but this time I was able to be seated right away. I would definitely recommend all this time restaurant. They are known for their award and quality of food. I will definitely keep coming.
Fantastic dining experience all around. They don't take reservations and expect a wait.
They have a wide selection of great food and really good sizes for the price point.
Eggrolls were crispy and paired well with the sauce.
We got several Szechuan spice dishes. The Tofu was soft and fluffy, to constrast the Beef in the soup. The fish was one of our favorites, more subtly spicy so the richness of the soup came through.
My personal favorite was the pork belly. Well executed, very tender, with a sweet sauce that served as a break between the other spicy dishes.
Will definitely be back to try more.
Delicious! Seating downstairs looked a little cramped and busy, but we had a party of 6 and dined upstairs around a larger table that was perfect for sharing. Great portions and quality, especially for the price.
The crispy shrimp with peach (also available with mango) was an interesting riff on the more common honey walnut shrimp. The wonton soup broth had a strong flavor from the green onion and made for a refreshing option between dishes. One of the overall favorite dishes was the honey black pepper chicken with bell peppers. We also loved the pig oil noodles.
The only downside to the atmosphere was the volume upstairs; loud music was playing (with karaoke videos/lyrics if you wanted to sing along too) and it was sometimes hard to hear other friends across the table. We asked for the music to be lowered a little and our secret obliged.
I'd happily return, and hopefully with a large group again so we can enjoy the extra space upstairs.
We came here for lunch and had a great meal! We walked in and waited 15 minutes to be seated, but the service was great. We ordered the Szechuan spicy beef and maw, lamb stir fry with pure cumin, signature dry chili flank steak, chef’s special stir fry duck with baby taro, and Szechuan dan dan noodles. We thought the lamb stir fry with pure cumin and the signature dry chili flank steak were particularly good, but the Szechuan dan dan noodles were not authentic at all and lacked flavor. Additionally, the chef’s special stir fry duck with baby taro was flavorful, but the cut of duck meat had many small bones inside and not much duck meat, making it hard to eat and not worth the price. However, prices were reasonable overall, and we would return for the cumin lamb and dry chili flank steak and to try other items on the menu.

Friendly, quick, and extensive menu. Recommended in the 2022 Michelin guide. Egg drop and egg roll (chicken) were spot on! Chief’s special beef was amazing: you can ask for less heat🥵
Visiting our daughter in Chicago and came to this restaurant based on her recommendation. Wow-what an excellent recommendation! Everything was excellent! I had the Szechuan Dan Dan Noodle. My wife had the Chicken Fried Rice and my daughter also had the Dan Dan Noodle. We shared Crab Rangoon, Egg Rolls and Sweet & Spicy Beef Shu Mai. I highly recommend the sweet and spicy appetizer-will return specifically for more of those!
Large menu with lots to choose from. We had the signature dry chili fried chicken, the oil from the peppers gives your tongue a numbing sensation. The shrimp fried rice was very generously filled with large shrimp. The garlic green beans were the favorite dish! Overall the portions were quite large and the food was tasty. I would return and recommend to others.
If you are a shrimp girly I was between choosing the Chef’s Special with Lemon or Mango Purée. The waiter suggested mango so of course I went for it! The first one you have is definitely mango present and after that it is an almost sweet, tropical taste. Then we paired it with another waiter suggestion the Twice Cooked Pork Fried Rice. I now know that all fried rice should be prepared like this. There was thinly sliced pork belly dancing in there and melting in my mouth. Take me back!
Obviously I didn’t get photos of all the delicious food I am talking about because I devoured them. 🙌🏼
