South Coast Sushi Bar

The restaurant has an interesting ambience. Food: Fresh and tasty. Loved the seaweed salad and dragon rolls. Service: Staff is generally nice. However, I visited this restaurant twice in a week. The 1st time, the service was wonderful. The waiter was attentive and the food and drinks came out extremely quick. The 2nd time, the waitress was nice, but the food and drinks took forever to come out. Hoping the second go round was a fluke and the first visit is more representative of a South Coast Sushi experience.

The Sushi was good and the place was really nice actually. My family and I went pretty late so they were rushing us out but I felt like there were still a lot of people in there that they shouldn't have rushed us. They rushed us so much that they even forgot something we ordered. But overall good Sushi and chill place

Best vegetarian sushi, love this place they have a great selection of vegetarian options in addition to the normal carnivore which I'm sure is pretty good, but even if you're a mean carnivore try the veggie options and save the fish. Great atmosphere to hang out with friends, full bar if you want to get some alcohol to loosen up and the staff is very friendly and helpful if this is not your normal cuisine.

It’s great to have a good sushi spot on the south side. The quality of the sushi is good and the prices are reasonable. The specialty rolls are what stand out the most. The service is always friendly...though orders can sometimes take a little while to arrive. An added bonus is that it is byob (think there may be a nominal cork fee)...though it only says so in the restaurant, and not anywhere online. Another bonus is there is a free parking lot for the restaurant across the street as well.

My favorite sushi spot! Their hot foods are really good as well. Always fresh, always delicious. Dark, chill environment, really good for dates. Same time it's mildly kid friendly-(they have high chairs). Love their tempura seaweed and the ginger sauce it comes with is delicious. King coast crab is 🔥🔥🔥

Ordered the Angry Salmon and Spicy Miso Soup to start, and shared the Spicy Tuna Roll and Chirashi to split between two. The miso soup was perfect for a cold day, and had a slight kick of spice that was absolutely delicious. The angry salmon I'll admit I ordered mostly for the name of the dish, but it ended up being delicious as well. The salmon was super fresh and the sauce was a lovely balance, with small fish eggs inside to add that crunch.
