Park Tavern

Went here for a 'quick bite' before a show at the United Center. The place is big, bigger than I expected. The waitress was good, but the food service was ridiculously slow. I knew it'd be slow before an event. We arrived and ordered immediately at 6:40pm. We were served our food at 7:25pm. Showtime was 7:30. I was frustrated by the slow service. Other folks, who arrived after us, were served before us. And it was just my wife and me, not a big group. Overall, the food and atmosphere was decent. The bathroom was pleasant. It's one of the few places walking distance from the United Center so, not a ton of options if you want a decent dinner before an event. The beer selection was good.

Nice dive close to the hotels and stadium. We walked from Courtyard by Marriott. I am trying to loose weight and had the blackberry cider and blackened salmon with cilantro rice. It was still delicious after being microwaved. I suggest ordering it medium doneness. My husband had a smoked old fashion and wasn't over joyed, but it was a good drink that he'd order again (he's an old fashion aficionado) He said that he ordered too much food, but sooped the ketchup with the last remaing fries. I would definitely go back and recommend to others.

Celebrated my cousin's birthday here. I was very impressed with the space and decor. I highly recommend this spot for a private party spot. I was disappointed that I paid for street parking because I didn't know they had a parking lot in the rear(let your guest know). Overall I give them a A+. Staff was friendly and professional.

When i first walked in, I was blown away. The atmosphere was very cozy and comfortable. I love the hard oakwood tables and chairs. The staff members are amazing and professional. Wait til you see the outdoor patio it is stunning and amazing. I ordered the Caesars chicken wrap, which it comes with French fries. I was full after two bites. The food and drinks are excellent to perfection. There's a parking garage across the street that is very affordable. Great location and safe indoor or outdoor. I highly recommend this place. This place is great for hosting special events, such as weddings, birthday parties, and conventions.

Stopped here before going to the John Mayer concert - loved that they played John Mayer on the radio all night, it really set the mood. The food was interesting…Steak was almost sweet. But the garlic aioli and fries were both great. The shuttle they offered to and from the concert was a really great and convenient bonus!
