Went here to see a show, decided to have dinner here as well. Making a reservation was really easy, and they communicated with us very well. The food was average for what you would expect from a "$$" restaurant on Google maps, the smash burger I ordered was solid but unspectacular, but the fries were really good. Service was also solid but unspectacular - they weren't crazy busy but there did only seem to be one waitress taking care of all the tables upstairs and she probably could've used some help because of all the tables she was responsible for was a lot. No complaints though, just nothing special. The atmosphere was really cool though - the brick interior and the decor really complimented the whole vibe of the place. The concert room is nice and small, giving you a great view of the stage from anywhere in the room, the speakers were in good condition, and you could also clearly see and hear everything from the seats just outside of the little room.
90 minute drive from Wisconsin for dinner and concert. SO worth it! One, the place is beautiful. Trendy and unique. Indoor and outdoor options for dining. Tables and booths. Highly recommend the sweet chili breaded cauliflower to start. Incredibly friendly staff. Kyla, our server was GREAT! Bartenders were fun and friendly. Standing room only in the concert area, but not a bad "seat" in the house. Mezzanine area allowed for great view, standing on the floor anywhere left to right, you cant go wrong. If your fav artist is playing you don't want to miss them at the Chop Shop. Had a great time! I'll definitely be back.
The food is great, the service is good and the outdoor patio is perfect for a warm day during the pandemic. It's was a fun environment on a Saturday night with some good music. I enjoyed the breakfast burger and the santorini salad. They also had some fun drinks for halloween as well.
