My partner walked by this place and he decided it will be a place I might like. He was right. We only had drinks. The cider menu is everything and more, I enjoy cider a lot, we had a couple of those and then we had a cocktail. Cocktails are the bomb. Very nice service and amazing little place the ceiling fans are a jewel. Beautiful old school place vibe, fantastic and perfect for the neighborhood. Will be back soon!.

Great brunch cocktails, we got the strawberry basil martini and Bloody Mary. We ordered the crispy pork belly hash and the pecan pie French toast. The potatoes were nice and crispy, and they paired well with the strawberry ketchup. The French toast looked like it would be crispy but was still soggy from the eggs. We would definitely go back to try the Dutch baby!

Cobblestone is a hidden gem in the heart of Chicago, and I can confidently say that it deserves every bit of its five-star rating. From the moment you step through its inviting doors, you're transported to a place where time slows down, and community and good food take center stage. This restaurant's mission to bring back the essence of community in the dining experience truly shines through. It's a place where you can relax, savor outstanding food, and engage in great conversation. In a bustling city like Chicago, this is a precious find that harks back to a time when neighbors knew one another, and the art of conversation wasn't lost in the frenetic pace of life. The moment you walk into Cobblestone, you're greeted by a warm, stylish, and approachable ambiance. The décor exudes a modern yet homely vibe, creating the perfect atmosphere for a night out with friends or a romantic dinner. The dimmed lighting and well-spaced tables provide an intimate setting without feeling cramped. But the real star of the show at Cobblestone is the food. Their unique menu, crafted by an accomplished Executive Chef, blends contemporary eclectic European cuisine with a delightful American twist. Each dish is a work of art, a harmonious symphony of flavors that caters to a wide range of palates. Whether you're in the mood for a juicy steak, fresh seafood, or a sumptuous vegetarian option, Cobblestone has you covered. One of the standout features of Cobblestone is its commitment to preserving the local cider tradition. For those who appreciate a good drink, you'll find an array of locally sourced ciders that perfectly complement the menu. The beverage menu, in general, is impressive, offering a variety of options to suit your preferences. The service at Cobblestone is impeccable. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly, adding to the overall dining experience. They are more than willing to guide you through the menu and help you make the best selections to suit your taste. In my multiple visits to Cobblestone, I've never been disappointed. The consistency in the quality of food, service, and ambiance is truly remarkable. It's a testament to their dedication to providing an exceptional dining experience. Cobblestone is not just a restaurant; it's a haven where you can escape the daily grind, enjoy delectable dishes, and reconnect with the joy of meaningful conversation. Whether you're a local or a visitor, Cobblestone welcomes you with open arms and delicious offerings. It's a dining destination that's become a cherished part of the Chicago culinary scene, and it's no wonder why it consistently earns five stars.

My son and I were looking for a restaurant in the neighborhood . The minute I walked in the ambiance was welcoming and cozy and the young woman who greeted us was lovely. The server came over immediately and introduced herself and was friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered the soy glazed brussells to start and they were wonderful. We also ordered the flat bread whic could have been it's own meal but was delicious. The coco vin, which I had never eaten, was wonderful. The wait staff were polite and friendly. The cost was incredibly reasonable even with drinks. We will return!

My wife and I hosted a reception for a small wedding. GM Barbora and Chef Ian were fantastic to work with from the beginning. GM Barbora decorated the backyard fantastically, so we didn't need to bring in anything else. Chef Ian helped design the menu for the event and was responsive with our dietary needs and restrictions. The food was delicious, high quality and had a wide range of ingredients and options. We got many compliments on the wide menu for draft beer and cider as well. We've eaten here for dinner many times and love the rotating menu of high quality options that are hard to find other places Overall it was great, and we can't recommend them enough to people looking for a small reception.

We went to celebrate my birthday with our niece. We had seen them on WGN and thought to give them a try. We sat out side and were given ample attention even though they were busy for brunch. Absolutely enjoyed our food . They manager at that time had offered me a beer for my birthday upon my inquiring about a brewery named Maplewood ( also a huge thumbs up). Wanted to share this review even though it was aboutv6 months ago.

Lovely outdoor patio and great service. We just popped in for drinks and James spent time asking good questions to recommend the “just right” cider (not too sweet…not too dry). We will be back for food next time!

It's hard to remember you're in Chicago after walking through the door at Cobblestone. The ambience in here is amazing. The cocktails were delightful. We got a couple starters (Brussels sprouts and the langos). Both were 5 stars. The burger and Coq au Vin were also top notch. The only reason for 4 stars is that the fried cod was a little disappointing. The fish was slightly over cooked but the batter managed to be soggy and mushy. Other than that we loved everything. Definitely will be back.

Very solid overall. The highlight of the meal was definitely the Schnitzel and Waffles. Highly recommended if you like sweet and salty together. Pork belly hash was very good, but the use of pork belly as an accent flavor in the dish was a little misleading. With just a little more belly, it would be perfect. Bloody mary was good, but it could used a little more substance to it. It tastes like it's missing something but I'm not sure what.
