Hidden inside a hotel lobby, walking into the restaurant made us feel like we were going into an exclusive spot. The entrance is a bit odd but once you get into the dining area the atmosphere is cozy, romantic and full of life at the same time. Everyone there wanted you to have the best experience from the greeter to the waiter to the chef and the manager. My girlfriend and I had a great time celebrating her birthday dinner. I would go back again once I get my paycheck.

Naoki is one of the better sushi restaurants in Chicago, although it falls short of being in my top tier. The interesting thing is that any sort of omakase must be ordered in advance...although I appreciate that certain items must be prepared in advance, sometimes I just want nicely prepared courses of nigiri. Otherwise, good service, good quality of fish, although the rice misses the mark.

Naoki Sushi is a great experience with amazing food. This is some of the best sushi and Japanese quisine we've had outside of Japan, and Chef goes the extra mile to make everyone feel welcome. The staff are extremely kind and attentive as well. Everyone at Tangerine Mountain highly recommends Naoki Sushi for an authentic, tasty, and fun night on the town!

Went for the first time in an early Saturday evening. You enter through the kitchen and walk into a small dining room. It's a very nice comfortable space and tables are far enough apart that you can have a private conversation. The wait staff was really attentive and friendly. Took my valet ticket when we got our check soy car was ready by the time we got out there. The sushi was really fresh and very tasty. The tuna tacos were a very tasty twist. I also really enjoyed the seaweed salad. The freshness of the fish and the specialty sushi definitely make this place worth it.

One of Chicago's top sushi spot, pristine, fresh nigiris and sashimi, prepared in the traditional manner by chef Naoki Nakashima and his staff, plus excellent cooked seafood, outstanding sake selection, and trendy cocktails round up the concise menu.

Been here 4x now in the last 2 years and they've always been very consistent. The quality of the rice is amazing. Perfectly cooked. The fish are always fresh and full of flavor!

Naoki sushi is an absolute hidden gem and, I think, the best sushi in Chicago. The quality of the fish is unbelievable and the dishes are creative and unique. Sit at the sushi bar for a super cool experience with Chef Naoki, himself.

If you are looking for the best sushi in Chicago, this is your place. The secretive, hidden restaurant and sushi bar is super unique and fun. I love it for an intimate date or with a group of friends. Faves include the edamame guac and all of the Naomi-Style sashimi. If you are a true sushi connoisseur, you must try Naoki.

I enjoyed the food with some friends of mine at this nice restaurant. The quality of the Sushi, Sashimi and Nagiri is really high. We also ate the Tuna tortillas as an appertizer, following the recommendation of our waiter. The sea weed salad is also fantastic. Great choice, amazing freshness and awesome composition. Fresh, with greens and spiced a bit, both a must have I would say. The place is nice and cosy, although the music was a bit noisy. The service was great, well trained and very friendly and supportive with the choice of food and drinks. They also have a great choice of Sake, which supports the Japanese style eating experience. The Soja sauce was also very good as was the Ginger and the Wasabi paste. Not too hot, but hot enough. Definitely a place to go if you enjoy Japanese style food.
