11/10 experience. A quiet, romantic, thoughtful charm. Not only was the food exceptional but the service was out of this world. Everyone was so kind and sincere, I cant say enough great things about this place. Would recommend to everyone!

This restaurant did not really live up to the hype. The only thing we really loved was the mushroom appetizer. That was really good! The gnocchi is popular but was not that good, I would not recommend it. We also tried the Bolognese pasta and it was good . Then we shared the fish of the day, it came with 2 small baby potatoes and 1 piece of broccoli. The fish was cooked well but lacked seasoning. Overall, I don't think I would come here again. There back patio is really cute and the waiter was really nice but for the price I don't think it's worth it.

What a wonderful little spot. You feel like you’re walking into someone’s home, and the service and food reflect that of a trusted, Italian friend. Other than being just a tad loud, I would highly recommend. Also: wine recommendation to pair with the gnocchi was *chef’s kiss*

Amazing restaurant, delicious food, beautiful patio! We went for a birthday celebration, and Michelle and the entire staff were incredible. We ordered the caprese salad, gnocchi, short ribs, and the fish of the day. Everything was unforgettable, from the food to the ambiance to the staff. Don't skip this place!

This is a hidden gem, food was fantastic. The portobello mushroom 🍄🍄 is a must. I don't even really like mushrooms and I could eat their dish everyday. Braised short rib was perfectly done. The gnocchi was absolutely delicious. Service was friendly and on point. A Tavola is in my go to spots in Chicago.

Cozy, traditional Italian dining, in a place that's easy to miss from the street. They really do have the best gnocchi in town. Every bite was perfect, and it's pretty reasonably priced. Good place for a date!

A simple and amazing menu. The gnocchi is great as stated a lot, but the entire menu is good. You cannot go wrong with any choice. Very cool setting too. It is my favorite Italian spot in the area.

Went here for our 25th wedding anniversary and they went above and beyond to make our dinner amazing! Excellent service, delicious food and beautiful atmosphere. Come here for any special occasion. Ravioli, and NY strip unique and delicious. Todd was our waiter and he was knowledgeable and just the right amount of entertaining. Dan the host was delightful and kind. Would recommend!
