Love their food and atmosphere. I really appreciate chef Sandra and her incredible team. We had ham & cheese croissant, apple brown butter and the breakfast sandwich and we took some treats home: Apple pie and sourdough
Lovely cafe with fantastic pastries! I love sitting on the second floor, the place has large windows to let all the sunlight in. The staff is always super friendly and helps me pick a pastry! Only downside is the cafe is on the pricier side, latte and a pastry was $20
I always love coming here for a treat. The staff are so so kind and the atmosphere of this neighborhood bakery is perfect for a quiet coffee date. It is also my go to when I have to bring a dessert to any gathering. My new favorite is any coffee drink with their lavender syrup.
Wonderful cafe and bakery in the neighborhood. Everything is baked and prepared in the kitchen in the back. Can watch them prepare items. The staff were helpful in offering to answer any questions on the menu
Re-discovered Floriole last year when looking for a holiday buche. Theirs was the best we'd had. This year's was just as good. Non-traditional, but delicious. Also tried more of their meal offerings - the spicy lentil soup and onion potato gallette were excellent, and they have the best seeded sandwich bread I've found - flavorful with great texture - both crunchy and chewy. Customer service was friendly and helpful, despite the chaos of the holidays.
Great pastries - we loved the poached cherry elderflower tart. The chocolate croissant was one of the flakiest croissants we've ever had.
We showed up at 9:30am on a Saturday and the line was short so no need to order ahead of you want to see the pastries and make a game time decision. Most seating outdoors was taken but there's lots of seating inside.
Nice staff. Good selection of beverages including bottled juices and sparkling stuff. Super cool that they serve as a pickup hub for farmer deliveries.
We had a nice experience visiting this bakery on a cold and rainy Chicago morning. It was a bit difficult to find because there was no sign but we figured it out.
We ordered the butter croissants and deep dish Quiche....after all it's Chicago and deep dish is where it's at. We also had the Bushe de Noel and the cranberry orange olive oil cake. Everything was delicious and fresh. Croissants were buttery and flaky. Olive oil cake was my favorite.
Definitely on the pricier side though fyi.
Solid spot, great food, nice atmosphere and service. The baguette are fantastic, they serve Metric coffee, the quiches and the pastries are all delicious. They have a small patio on the sidewalk and the seating in the front is great too by the windows, which I hope now the weather is getting better they will open them up
I love this place, house made fresh pastries!
Some places just get them frozen out of a box and just bake them and charge so much. This place definitely does not. Worth every penny. Thank you for your hard work and dedication.
What an incredible hidden gem! The store smells amazing, and though none of the baked goods are kosher, they looked divine! The coffee was great, and everyone working there was warm and lovely to interact with. I'd come back!
