What a fantastic find!! I had the catfish po boy and reminded me of the first time i had this sandwich way back in 1990. The catfish is perfectly fried and seasoned with lettuce and just the right amount of spicy mayo. The french roll was nicely grilled on flatop that gave it a good crunch but still soft chewy outer crust. Cajun fries was a great compliment. Definitely will need to try their other southern fare. Also staff is very friendly!!

Had brunch here to celebrate my birthday. Staff was so friendly and food was delicious. It does get pretty busy so I'd recommend calling to place a reservation first, to ensure you get a seat. Im also not a big fan of bread pudding but Pearl's was a winner. Would definitely return when I'm back in the area!

Great food and fantastic vibe! I had the shrimp and grits based on reviews, it did not disappoint! It’s so good I want to go back for more! Hurricane was good full of fresh ingredients but pretty sweet which is what they are supposed to taste like. Very cozy place with wonderful staff!!!

Food was very tasty and staff was kind. Service could have been faster (in regards to taking our order, bringing food out, refilling water, and bringing check). The atmosphere was original. I wish I could’ve left with my own set of beads.

Chicago greet New Orleans at Pearl's. Authentic to the Big Easy. The menu is filled with favorites from the area ex. Gumbo, Jambalaya, etc. And the drinks are from that region as well. The waiter told me in the summer there's a roof top available and the restaurant also has live music. Check schedule on their website. If you like New Orleans style, you'll like Pearl's.

So good, didn't even realize this gem was in the neighborhood!! The shrimp & grits are delish. I will be going back for sure. Great space intimate...perfect for brunch or even date night. Paid street parking available. Update: Just went for a super quick late lunch/early dinner, never disappointed. I had the shrimp and Crawfish Étouffée so good. 😋 Service was great, it was a little chilly but besides that all was perfect.

Went here with a reservation for five. Excellent service, well made cocktails that were around 10 bucks a piece. Food was served quickly and hot and had really good portion sizes. Every single plate that was brought out to us was cleaned by the end of our visit. We did the pimento cheese appetizer, fried pickles and boudin balls. For my entree I had the pictured gumbo and a side order of mac and cheese that all of my friends took a small portion of. Honestly this was the best gumbo I remember having. Closed the meal with beignets. We came here prior to a show at The Edge Theater and thankfully it was the right amount of food without being overly stuffed and everything was well seasoned and tasty. I'll definitely be back in the future!

The menu has an impressive variety of dishes - including bbq and some great cocktails. For apps, we had the beignets, southern fried pickle chips, and Mississippi catfish bites. The catfish bites were the surprise hit but everything was tasty. For mains, we had the shrimp po’boy with seasoned fries, the pulled pork brioche sandwich also with seasoned fries, and the jambalaya.

Wowza! What a great place! The environment is cozy and inviting and the food is phenomenal. Try the ribs, they were competition quality. The Jelly Pork Chop was thick and grilled to perfection, and the burgers were juicy and tasted great. Don’t hesitate to check this place out, I sure wish we had one back in Denver!

I went with two friends for the first time, we loved the ambience and the food was to dying for, drinks are wonderful, very authentic southern food. The server wasn't attentive also kept ignoring our table when we're ready to order more drinks and the main course. They need to improve more with the server's.
