Right from the hostess to Sebastian , the server who looked after us, to the food and dessert , it was excellent!
I did feel that couple salads from the many we ordered were slightly high in salt , but that is negligible. I highly recommend the place
What a great experience! Which would not have been possible without the services of Brandy, Indra and Mary Beth. From when I first stepped into the place till i left the service was impeccable along with the food and drinks! Highly recommend the Macallan Rare Journey, an experience I've never had with a cocktail before. Will defenitly be coming back.
Went there for breakfast. The food was excellent. The service was not great. It took over 20 minutes for someone to take our order. The place seemed either under staffed or disorganized. The Nutella French toast was amazing and very rich. The bacon was crisp and had good flavor. The hash browns were great, although the square ones were better than the other potatoes.
I really liked this place. I was here for ahappy hour bit stayed back longer. I was very impressed with the suggestions from the bartender on quite a few stuff. Great spot for whiskey, scotch and whiskey cocktails! I'm definitely going back again!! Bartender Indra (pardon my spelling, if not correct), you are awesome!!! Her Irish coffee was amazing!!!!
Holy cow the brunch menu here did not disappoint! The Mac and cheese was AMAZING and recently won the best mac in the city. The bloody Mary and mimosa bad did not disappoint at all and definitely bang for your buck if you have at least two drinks. I will absolutely be coming back for the mac and cheese!
Great, and I do mean great service and lovely food prepared with no detail left out. Timing, atmosphere, service, suggestions were all excellent, our waiter was amazing. I think his name was Tom. He made it fun! The view was fantastic!
First of all let's start with the space! Absolutely beautiful! Cozy atmosphere with bubbling conversations all around. There is no obnoxious music playing in the background so you can hear your conversations and attune the rest of your senses to the glorious cocktails and whiskeys Baptiste has to offer. Second, the whiskey! Everything and anything you can imagine is on hand and the staff knows their stuff. They were incredibly knowledgeable and immediately attuned to our preferences and bent over backwards to satisfy. My husband and I both had a flight of whiskey which comes with identifying cards that you can take with you so you can purchase your favorites from your favorite spirits supplier. I had the most wonderful charcuterie plate which, paired perfectly with my whiskey. My husband ordered the lobster roll that was as wonderful to look at as it was to taste. The old fashions here are amazing definitely the best in the city. I also tried a whiskey smash which is bourbon, lemon, simple syrup, and mint... delicious and beautifully presented! I am so pleased to have stumbled upon this gem... do yourselves a favor and visit tonight!
This is a classy spot, perfect for after work drinks, date night, impressing a client or even a group. It's pretty quiet but offers great views. The service is a little slow in my opinion and that may be because there weren't many customers and staffing is adjusted accordingly. B&B offers a simple cocktail menu but an expansive Bourbon list. I will absolutely be back perhaps just to hang out but most definitely the next time I will try the food.
You can tell the people who created this place were very intensional with everything they choose. From the seating to the lights to the plates. Very impressed with everything. The reason why I'm giving this place four stars is because the hostess are a snobby, like get over yourself. The waitress was really good at first but then it was as if she got over us.... but we got cocktails, they were delish. We choose the beet salad as the appetizer, great, very fresh. We ordered the NY strip, it was cooked really well. The whipped mash was AMAZING.
The view from the 20th floor is beautiful of the Chicago skyline.
The coffee is a wonderful blend that smells and tastes amazing.
The omelet is huge and fluffy.
The eggs Benedict are unique as the Hollandaise is whipped, light, and fresh with good lemon flavor without being overwhelming.
The only thing that lacked was the service seemed to be short staffed and we had to wait quite a bit each time we needed our server.
Tucked away on the top floor of an upscale hotel, this is a great venue for weekend brunch.
Don't miss the pancakes, they're to die for, and they're not on the menu.
Amazing duck confit chilaquiles and probs the best mac and cheese I’ve ever had. Bloodies are a bit pricey unless you have 3 (at $26 for unlimited).
