Cozy place, great music and even better food!! Also Dan gave amazing customer service, I would definitely recommend this place.
Went for dinner on a Saturday night, service was fantastic and food came quickly. The noodle bowl with Vietnamese barbecue beef was SO good. My mom and I both had a great time and would recommend.
When we walked in we were surprised to see a hip eclectic vision of a south eastern Asian restaurant. The music was house music and also switched to french music as well. The food was very delicious, the fresh spring rolls with pork belly were incredible and I don't say that often about food. We also ordered the Spicy Noodles with chicken and my husband ordered the Vermicelli Salad with Chicken and no shrimp. One of the owners is the host and one of the servers as well. He was very accommodating with my several food allergies. This place is awesome and the service is top of the line.
The boss is warm and hospitable. The food is very exquisite and edible. The ingredients are very fresh. Their pork belly series is very delicious and the branzino is very similar to the squirrel mandarin fish. I particularly like it.
I really like the environment of the restaurant, and the food also amazing too. The impressive of the restaurant would be the service, because I was taking photos and one of the manager was giving us free dishes and free drinks. I really appreciate that. Overall, it’s an excellent place to go!

That Balthazar drink -with the homemade beef jeeky was immaculate and refreshing and the tamarind is an excellent kick paired with cognac. The Sweet and spicy chicken bao which the owners invented , spicy with a kick and cabbage brought the perfect balance to the palate and was quite delicious i could eat 100 of these. Papaya salad - unripe papaya with beef jerky with pork cubes and shrimp with sweet and sour dressing and peanut crunch - simply spectacular and it has quite the tang and crunch which makes you realize you have been eating the wrong salads. Khao Soi mussells was a dish as a mussel hater I thought I would hate but I loved, the kick and richness from the yellow curry and chili oil base paired with the garlic bread is just fantastic.
I have been converted to team mussels.
With Chicken fried rice the peppers bring a good kick, wood ear mushrooms are good texture and it can be paired with any of the curries or be eaten alone. The Vietnamese barbeque eggplant is a sweet yet slightly spicy dish paired with jasmine rice was one of the highlights of the evening with a slight crunch yet soft tenderness to the eggplant and and it has perfectly balanced tones of sweet, tangy and richness. Mediterranean whole branzino has notes of dill and thai chilli, thick sauce with a hint of tamarind that can be drizzled on top of the fish feels like butter melting in your mouth. The Bo Luc Lac or shaken beef was a plate that was quite literally finished completely as the flavors of the medium rare steak and sauce just burst in your mouth and the aide salad cuts the richness of the steak and is a good side!
Overall this was an amazing dining experience, the customer service was simply amazing and impeccable; the restaurant itself is such a cute atmosphere with 2 music and overall i will definitely be coming back here many many times!
Tl;dr: owner, who works as one of the hosts, is welcoming and hospitable. The food is delicious. The banana brown butter cake is probably the best dessert I’ve ever had in my life!
The host/server (also the owner) is very hospitable and welcoming. His wife, the chief, is incredibly talented! The way the jackfruit dumplings isn’t stringy is impressive. The tofu is cooked to perfection. The food comes out warm and fairly fast so would be great for a quick bite. The dessert, banana brown butter cake, is one of the best things I’ve ever tasted in my life. Honestly I could recommend this place just for the dessert alone! The rest of the menu is an added bonus. Would highly recommend coming here.
Went with my mom to this restaurant and it was one of best Vietnam restaurant I have been to in a long time. I'm a frequent traveller and every country I go to there is always that one restaurant I never forget the flavour from. This is yet another restaurant to my list. 🥰🥰 The food not only look great, garnished and decorated perfectly, it also tasted amazing. That's hard to do! Brilliant restaurant I would recommend to anyone. 🙌🙌

I visited Saigon Sisters for the very first time for an early dinner and I was extremely impressed with how attentive each staff member was including Daniel who co owns the restaurant with his wife Mary who is one of the chefs making these tasty pho 🍜 soups.
The primary reason I picked this restaurant was to sample the pho so last week I chose the chicken 🐔 pho, spicy shrimp chips and an extremely sweet Thai iced tea. My meal was unrushed, the presentation was beautiful and the broth extremely tasty.
My only complaint is the music 🎶 isn't very soothing or peaceful. They play hard edged hip hop trending music that's kind of loud but I really appreciated the cozy atmosphere and the food is incredibly authentic tasting.
This afternoon I popped by for second visit for their lunch hour and this time the restaurant was super lively and crowded but my server was friendly and attentive so I didn't feel ignored.
This time I chose the roast beef pho which I actually did prefer over the chicken I ordered the last visit and I picked the iced Vietnamese coffee ☕ which was so strong that I needed more milk and ice to sweeten it up a bit.
They do have a rewards program here but I used a completely different credit card 💳 this time so I guess my meal today won't be credited unfortunately because it slipped my mind and my server was so busy she neglected to ask if I'd dined there before because she didn't ask for my phone number.
Anyway I will definitely be back and the pho here is so fresh and tasty so it's definitely worth the trip if you appreciate authentic Vietnamese style cuisine and homemade pho.
Saigon Sisters was delicious! We had the shrimp spring roll, chilled peanut noodles, porky bahn mi, and mango sticky rice. All of the food was very fresh and the portions were great for the price. The chilled peanut noodles were a little spicy for our taste, but still tasty. The inside of the restaurant was casual and comfortable. The owner was extremely friendly and the service overall was good. We will definitely return!
If i could give it more than 5 stars i would! We love everything about this place. This place is flavor town! Bahn mi and fried egg roll were our favorite (although everything was also sooo good!) the best part was the owner! He is funny, approachable, and super nice. He was always making sure we are having a good meal. Definitely recommended and we will be back!
The sweet and spicy fried chicken was very good. Be aware of the spicy noodles—they were as advertised— very spicy, very yummy. The service was also great. Probably my favorite restaurant of all I’ve visited my past 4 days in Chicago. I can’t wait to come back someday!
